Was considering buying a car from Pappas Toyota until I found out about their poor BBB rating. It was an F, now its a B minus. Be aware that Pappas Toyota is NOT a BBB accredited business due to their poor customer service and complaints. I ended-up buying from Twin City Toyota in Herculaneum and they are a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating.

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THEM!!! I paid $6,000 for a car... drove it for 24 hours and realized that something wasn`t right... come to find out, the axel was bent... they did fix it... but it took them a few weeks to do, AND my sales guy refused to give us a loaner car! Once we got the vehicle back, we drove it for about 3 weeks and the engine exploded... literally needs a new engine! $4,000 to get fixed! they sold... view more me a lemon and they don`t care! I wanted to trade the vehicle after 24 hours because of the axel issue and they wouldn`t let me because they suck!! I had to get rid of the car, and paid thousands of dollars for a vehicle I was able to only drive for about a month total! They SAY they inspect their cars, but with all the issues that ended up being wrong with my car leads me to believe that there is no way that they actually inspected the car.

OK, but not great pricing

Gave a better than average initial price quote and then never re-quoted when they were under-bid. Might be OK if you need to buy in a hurry, but that`s a really bad idea when buying a new car. Of course, there are many Toyota dealers in St. Louis who are much worse than this one, so make sure to get a price quote from them ...
