I own a 60K Mercedes that needed door work due to damage, When the $3000 job was done, I noticed that a small device that controls the head rest was missing. The owner implied that " those things fall off frequently" and never committed to repair it. It was a simple oversight that I would have liked them to repair and not speak to me like I am crazy over a $150 dollar item missing off my door . I will not return or advise any friends to frequent, I will be sending a letter to MBUSA and alert them to the poor service I reveived. My time is valuable and I did not appreciate giving $3000 to the company and getting a difficult time requesting they correct a $150 error in putting my door back together

Here is the major issue, there are minor ones too. The technicians did not install the rear bumper crash absorber! The estimator attempted to cover it up by saying it was installed. After much debate and even demanding that the estimator look under the car himself, and he still was trying to say it was there, he went and asked technicians. Oops, the new crash absorber was sitting on the technician?ˆ™s shelf. Also the masking for the paint job on rear bumper cover is amateur level. Do not take your car here. 4/25/2011 Update: Amanda has called; pending. 4/26, 27/2011: Wife primary driver of vehicle so she called Amanda back to schedule. A complete disassembly of the vehicle repair by a different technician was in order. Needed to check the original technician shoddy work. 5/2/2011: Amanda finally calls my wife back. 5/3/2011: Wife takes vehicle back. Eveland sends wife in rental car so the new technician can have the day to address the issue. I inspected the vehicle this evening and there is clear evidence the vehicle was not touched by anyone. Plastic body panel push-fasteners and underside panels have clearly not been touched as road debris is still attached?ˆ¦really Eveland you just let the vehicle sit there all day. Oh they decided to ?ˆ?wash?ˆ? the vehicle; it is now a mess again with water streaks all over. Eveland is clearly incompetent; I would not do business with them.

They may be pricey. However, they remove every part before they paint it and it always looks brand new when they are finished. You get what you pay for and with them you get a great job.

A Little Pricey

I got quotes to replace my bumper from three different places. Eveland Bros Collision Repair was almost twice as expensive as my highest quote. They quoted significantly more hours to replace a bumber than anywhere else and added a mysterious "miscellaneous" expense that was a couple hundred dollars. I would definitely recommend getting more than one quote if you are thinking about using Eveland Bros.
