Where do I even begin?! My experience with carsmart has been phenomenal! My partner and I went to carsmart expecting to get turned away like we have many times before. false advertizing

I called ahead of time, explained my credit situation, i told the girl EVERYTHING upfront, she put me on hold, came back and said "no problem, our finance guy say`s`s you qualify for the nickel down program", i said your surr i cam come down with NO money but a nickel, she told me not a problem, just had to verify my employment/residence. Needless to say, i live 30 minutes away from this "bait n switch" so called business.....when i was finished with the salesman, he told me that i would need s1500 or a co-signer....this place is a joke, and i recommend this to NOBODY!! I telephoned Car Smart and explained to the woman that answered the phone that I was looking for a cheap pickup truck and was interested in the 5 cents down and $177 per month as the advertisement promised. I couldn`t afford more as I had just purchased a brand new Chevy Cruze from Rick Ball and also had a Harley motorcycle payment to make as well. The 5 cents down and $177 per month deal would be perfect for me. She... view more said that deal was only for 1 or 2 vehicles that Ted would decide to sell for that at the time and didn`t hold true for most of their vehicles. The truck I want would be priced in the teens and wouldn`t be in the deal I wanted. So their whole advertisement is just untrue. You can purchase a vehicle on the deal advertised, but only from 1 or 2 that Ted decides to let go on the deal. Probably something they really need to move that he can push off on someone desperate for anything they can get. I am very disappointed with Car Smart.

I went to car smart trying to trade my car in for another one. I just file bankruptcy and wanted to build my credit back up. They wouldn`t take my trade told me to take it back where I buying it from. Remind you I`m a woman. Just went back two years later still don`t want to be bother Cruz I still owe to much on the car they said they would take back. Never will I recommend it to anyone. Ted heater is not a dealer for the ppl

This place is pure comedy! First they tell you that anyone can be approved thats their first lie, secondly they tell u they will give u 4,000 for any trade in thats a lie... I brought in my trade in and they didnt even go out and look at it but tried to tell me its better to just keep the car... Tulsa is the worst sales rep ever... i would tell my friends NOTHING because the refer a friend program is a scam to get more business and NOT reward the faithful customers. We didnt get our reward because the owner "didnt trust" the fact that we referred a friend. why he didnt trust it. i dont know. I am still willing to go up there WITH THE FRIEND I REFERRED if they need more reassurance. not happy though. not happy at all

I went looking at other dealerships, and was turned down. Shortly afterwards I began to think about the fantastic salesmen and low mileage, high quality cars I had previously purchased from Car Smart.
