Biggest Mistake
I traveled over an hour to view/purchase a car from Wildwood Motors. I wish I hadn`t. My own mistake was trusting in these guys. Based on the previous reviews and overall feeling I got from talking to them, I let my guard down and ended buying a vehicle I shouldn`t have. I spent over $400 of my own money on car repairs within the first couple days of owning it. I still have hundreds more to spend if I want it in the ... view morecondition I actually thought it was at time of purchase. I asked several times if there were any known issues with the car and I was always assure that no, there were none. It was untrue and they knew it, because my salesman told me he personally drove the car at least twice. They did not act like they cared about the issues with the car, rarely ever returned my many phone calls, and made me feel like my car, my problem, rather than a valued customer. I learned an expensive lesson buying from them and now all I can really do is discourage others!

GREAT PRODUCT, service--worth the drive!!
The VW Beetle convertible I bought from Wildwood in 2009 has far exceeded my expectations, (especially having come from a Porsche.)
They have great follow up service, are very friendly, and just waxed my car on my way through St. Louis back to KC.
It was well worth the drive to pick up my ""bug"", I am definitely going back when this one retires.

Bought A Great Looking / Driving Audi
I must say I am pleased with my 2008 Audi A-4 . The car is clean, they put new brakes on it before the sale and had it checked out thoroughly. I am happy with my experience. This is my second used car I bought from Wildwood Motors- my son is still driving his 1998 Gran Prix we bought over 6 years ago. Good car! Check them out- good inventory.

I have bought 3 cars from Wildwood motors and trust them
I have bought a Chevy Cavelier, a Pontiac Sunfire...oooh I liked that one. And a Ponticac G6. I have never had to have any service other than my car inspection every year. They know how to pick cars at this place. I personally am not a used car person, but I have found that you can buy a perfectly good car that someone has used for a short time and pay considerably less. I have had perfectly good cars and have s... view moreaved alot of money this past 17 years.

Good Service
I was looking for a pre-owned late model car and had heard about this small car dealer in Wildwood. I had interest in a couple of models and talked to the staff about what I was looking for. Within a few days, they were back in touch with me about a couple of options. I decided to look at and test drive a 2008 Audi. It was reasonably priced in comparison to other late models I had researched and I went ahead w... view moreith the purchase. I have been very pleased with the car. There were a few touchups that needed to be done to the wheel rims as could be expected with any pre-owned car. The wheel rims were touched up and looking good when I picked up the car. This was a good experience and I am enjoying the car.

Stay Away From Wildwood Motors! These guys are crooks!
I found a car that I loved on their, and it seemed to be a reasonable price so I went and took a look at it. It had a couple of ""minor issues"" that they said were ""an easy fix"". The car had a broken side mirror, and an airbag light was on. I put down a down payment on the car, with the agreement that when I picked the car up and made my final payment all the ""minor issues"" would be fixed. They were going to tak... view moree it to ""their dealer"" and have it fixed. I made my downpayment on a Thursday and they told me I could pick the car up the following Tuesday. I called Tuesday and they told me it wouldn`t be ready until Friday. When they finally told me I could pick the car up, the mirror appeared to be fixed, and they assured me that all the other issues had been resolved. I wrote out my check and left with the car. On the car ride home, the check engine light came on, as well as the air bag light. They had not fixed anything. I took it to my usual mechanic, and they did end up being simple fixes. About a week later, my mirror broke again. It turns out that ""their dealer"", had superglued my mirror. When I called to discuss my complaints with them, they got defensive and kept giving my the runaround. I decided to fix everything myself, because they really were cheap fixes. I love my car now, but I wish I would have listened to other reviews I had read on these guys. I would never recommend Wildwood Motors to anyone! Steer clear of these guys. Guys like these are reasons salesmen get a bad rep!

AKA Wildwood Motors - HORRIBLE!!
Well, I accepted the car under the condition it would pass emissions (quite easily, they said, haha!) and the car ended up being a total mess, for example, let`s just say that the dealer had someone work inside the dash, and during the unraveling of problems, I discovered that the dashboard was held together with a wooden screw... Needless to say, I asked for my money back and returned the car, but have not heard ANY... view moreTHING from them, and they have not responded to the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General, and they still have the car and all of my money (the check was cashed right away, although the sale was not complete). STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! A quick search on MO casenet showed over 250 lawsuits related to this business. Watch out!
