Brought my car in today for service, the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and talkative. My daughter and I had to wait for my vehicle to be service so he showed us to a clean kid friendly waiting area. They checked on us half way thru service to make sure my daughter and I were happy. Be very careful going here, I took mt Chevy Impala here and was told many things were wrong with my car adding up to many thousands of dollars. In fact, it cost me $60 to only inspect and tell me how expensive the repairs were going to be (Looking back at what I potentially could have spent, $60 seems to be a cheap lesson). Included in the price was a new transmission that was going to be a min. of $4000.00 and sever... view moreal other things. I do know a good amount about cars but lack the time to do the work myself but after hearing this I decided to investigate. When I told this person to get my car he acted surpised and suggested I leave the car as it was unsafe to drive. Although I realize there are things that need to be fixed on this car it is perfectly safe to drive as it has just passed inspection and new plates just put on two weeks ago. I left here and went to a local auto parts store and checked the transmission fluid level it was very low so I bought two quarts of transmission fluid and was given the phone # to a local transmission shop that told me to add the fluid and that this was probably the problem, and that worst case senario the cost would be less than half of what I was told at Price. The main reason for this review is because I genuinely feel for the individual who lacks knowledge about automotives and is subjuct to be severely misled and overcharged.
