Poor service and attitude!
Generally i am not person who complains alot. However, i want to spare anyone else any headaches and try to state facts and not just my general low opinion of this place. I own a 2007 Kenworth T2000. Living local i figured other than pm services, I wanted to establish a good relationship and make this my one stop repair shop for my truck.
1st visit - I needed a simple GE sealed fog light for the truck. I didnt... view more know the part number, but gave them my vin#. They kept quoting me a price of couple hundred dollars...i was like thats not possible its an old fashion sealed round shape fog light. Cant be that expensive. I had to pull the light out, get the printed part number on it, look it up online and found new ones for around 12 bucks that included shipping charges.
2nd visit - i had a crack that developed on the exhaust pipe in the bend of the pipe coming out the back of the tractor. I seriously considered just having a welder buddy lay a bead down through the crack, but decided it would eventually crack again with all the stress and vibration...so i called told them the carrier i was leased on with and gave them a letter from my carrier telling them i was entitled to their national discount rates on parts. I got a price quote of 758.00. I thought that was steep so i called Kenworth across town in Fenton and was quoted 498.00 i wanted to know why there was a huge difference in price and called the one here in St Peters back...they put me on hold came back said that was a mistake and the price would be 625.00....got there to pay the bill and it was 678.00
3rd and last visit - truck out of alignment and needed shocks. I authorized a 3 axle alignment and replacement of the shocks. Employee Jacob stated a test drive had been completed by the mechanic...yet the electronic onboard recorder stated truck hadnt moved since i brought it there and dropped it off. Still had a right pull after the 3 axle alignment completed. Brought the truck back asked them to take another look at it...Jacob told me it was natural to have a small pull to the right cause all trucks are manufactured this way in case the driver falls asleep at the wheel wont cause a head on collision.....WTF?
