First let me say that this is ...
First let me say that this is my first post ever anywhere about anything. However, I feel so strongly about what the Dean Team did to me that I had to post a comment. I would like to say up front that I was looking for a used car in the price range of $5000. At first the sales people were friendly and happy to help. They said they 1 car in my price range - a Toyota Corolla. I took it for a very quick test drive ... view moreon the back roads only. It seemed like a decent car to me. But I do not know much about cars. The sales person asked me if I could give him a check for $500 to show Management that I was truly interested in the car - which I did. Next day, a male friend of mine went to check out the car for me. Well, it was a mess. He checked the tires and they had dry rot. He checked under the hood and it appeared that the previous owner had burned a lot of oil to the point of being dried and burnt on the dip stick. The sun roof completely collapsed while my friend was test driving it. And beyond that there was a laundry list of issues on that car that were not taken care of. Well, I went back to get my check (with my boyfriend in tow) and they tried to tell me that I already bought the car. My sales person was extremely misleading. He said nothing about the $500 being a promise to purchase - no, I was told it was to show management that I am truly interested. After a little back and forth, they did give me my check back and I bought a 2002 Toyota Prius for $4500 from an inividual who was honest and upfront, not shady and sneaky. I don`t advise going here - the sales people seem to be very shady.

The sales team was amazing!! I told them what I was looking for and what my price range was and they showed me exactly that! They didnt try and "sell" me on anything other than what I was looking for. They were very helpful and made buying a car a likeable experience! Regardless of what kind of car I am looking for, I will always go to Dean Team Ballwin first!!!

Please consider different dealer.
I bought a used mazda protege from them only a couple months ago before the car`s engine blew out on me. I tried to get Dean Team to fix it or get me a different car..to no avail. they said that i went over their 2000 mile warranty and that I didn`t change the engine oil on time and that caused the failure of piece of junk they sold me. I barely went over 2000 miles past the limit. wtf? They`re a bunch of mechanics a... view morend sales reps who don`t know what they`re saying. They said it`ll cost me $3,500 to put a new engine in. ridiculous.

Fraudulent Conmen with Poor Customer Service
In March 2011 we purchased a used van, a 2002 Mazda MPV, for my daughter from Dean Team Hyundai. She found it via an on-line search. I went to look at it and test drive it. It came with a 2,000-mile/60 days warranty. That same evening, my husband also came in and checked it out. We were told again of the warranty, which was also pasted to the window of the van. He put $500 down on it. The following day (March 8) my d... view moreaughter and I came to pick it up and give them a check for the balance. We were forced to wait over an hr. She signed various documents, including the warranty, and we were told the papers would all be mailed to her. On the way home, the transmission went out. Dean Team sent a tow truck and provided her with a rental van at no charge. After a week, she tried to find out the status on the repair. After days of phone calls not being returned, one guy finally told her to stop calling and talk to the sales guy (Andy Miller) who she had also left msgs. with. A month later, the car was finally finished. When she picked it up and took it to the license bureau, the inspection was expired. She ended up getting it re-inspected at her own cost, and was told to mail Andy the bill. She has yet to be reimbursed. The inspection showed that the van has a cracked left boot and needs a new left axle. The mechanic at the transmission repair place told her that the boot was already in bad shape when they repaired the tranny, that Dean Team was informed, and that they did/said nothing. She has the receipt from them also stating this. Needless to say, none of her phone calls have been returned. The papers she received in the mail show that the warranty she signed was altered to ?ˆ?As-is, No Warranty?ˆ? (even though the box showing that there IS a warranty was still checked). This is fraud. Since she has been unsuccessful in getting anyone there to speak with her, she has filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will update this review if/when there is a resolution. My daughter, husband and I were treated extremely rudely by these people, in particular Andy, who raised his voice to me on the phone when I called about the inspection, and basically said that they were doing us a favor by selling us this piece of ___. I wish we had read the negative reviews here before doing business with them.
