Complete Rip off and shady as any place I` ve ever been

On July 31st I paid $301.68 to have my car fixed (coil replaced) by this shop. 1 month later same problem started happening again. Tim told me that I really needed all my valve covers replaced to prevent this problem from continuing to happen so I trusted him and paid him another $427.13 on September 26th. When I left I noticed car running just as bad as when I dropped it off for the second time. I called him and... view more he told me to give it a few days for the oil to burn itself off and it would be fine. I gave it a week and problem only got worse so I brought it back for the 3rd time for the same problem. I dropped car off on October 07, 2009 and he didn?ˆ™t even call or return my calls until October 13th, 2009 to tell me it was going to cost me another $400 and some change to fix the same problem. At this time I decided to refuse service and report to the BBB. I have been completely taken advantage of and hope that BBB can help me do something about this. I will testify in a court of law or anything that needs to be done on a legal note.

Check Out Reviews Before Its To Late

They charged me for changing my timing belt and water pump 5 months later the car overheated, I took it to another car shop and found out they never replaced the parts. I have photos of the old parts still in the car.

Just was told the mechanic is legally blind, why is he still working on cars

A great experience

I went to my car this morning(Christmas eve)turned the key on and nothing!I live fairly close to this shop,so I called for assistance.I was told a tow truck would be able to pick up my car within the hour and if at all possible I would have my car back today.My car was picked up and within the hour I recieved a call informing me that my battery had failed.Tim,the manager said that they sold the same brand of battery ... view moreand was able to get it replaced for free under warranty.The total bill ended up to be $65 for the tow,$29.50 to check the car,and $21.25 to install the battery and service the connectors.The speedy repair and professionalism was priceless to me.Highly recomended.

Terrible car repair

This was by far the WORSE car care experience I have ever had. The service manager lied about the car repairs on more than one occasion. When I finally got my car, the repair work was sub standard. They charged more than the quoted price and I had to pay it just to get my car back. I will never use this car repair chop again.

Horrible Repiar Shop

I recently had stopped in cordova car care to have an oil leaked checked out.they Told me it would be 80.00 bucks to look at my car.I said ok check it.It took them two minutes to tell me what the problem was.Wow 80.00 bucks for 2 minutes of looking?.They told me that it was leaking around the head of the engine i think,anyway the estimate of the repairs was 600.00 bucks to 850.00 depending on if there were other leak... view mores.They also said my brakes were bad,Haha when they said that i knew the place was a joke.I just had my brakes done 3 weeks prior to me coming in at their shop.i told them not to do anything else with my car. I was still charged the 80.00 and i went elsewhere and they said it was valve cover gaskets and the cost was 150.00 bucks to repair it.They fixed it and it hasnt leaked since.i will never go there again for anything.not recemmended

Careful!

My first and last time at Cordova Car Care happened this week. I had an appointment set up and the day before my car wouldn`t start. I had the car towed there because I knew I had an appointment so I figured it would get taken care of quickly. Not so. I was told there were 6 cars to be serviced first and that it wouldn`t get looked at until later that day or the next morning. I had to rent a car due to their la... view moreck of respect for my time and my appointment. The next day I was told the battery was not functioning correctly. I replaced the battery was advised to replace the battery terminal wire which was done. The service fee was quoted at 45 turned into $80, $20 for the part, $40 for the installation. So after $155 to Cordova Car Care, $150 for the tow, and $45 for the car rental I would not use that location again.
