Not to doubt the validity of the other reviews but I had an exceptional experience and Danny`s transmission service and hope to offset the negatives with my positives. I have since recommended to him a few friends and family members. They all had similar experiences as mine. I had an 04 suburban that had the 4l60e rebuilt and re installed. Only a slight issue after the repair that was fixed on the spot. I fe... view moreel the price is low because he keeps his overhead low. I also feel his passion for transmissions and service sets him apart from the other shops around. ( I had estimates from all the local shops including the dealer). 2 years and its still going strong.

DANGER BEWARE!!

my girl has took her truck to mr.thweatts shop numerrous times and the same thng keeps happen her clutch keeps goin out and we keep taking iy back now its been in the shop now for weeks now and he wont anwsere this a scam it ant worth it stay away

Do not go to this shop

I took my 1970 Ford F100 to this transmission shop over 2 months ago. Since then I have moved to North Carolina. It took him 2 months to fix my truck and, since I was unable to test drive after the repairs were done, I relied on Danny`s word that the repairs were done. The repairs in particular were that the transmission needed to be rebuilt and the cause of the overdrive not working addressed. From what I understand... view more (as I cannot see inside the transmission) it has been rebuilt, but the overdrive is not working. I have tried on 2 occasions to call him and left him voice mails both times and he has not returned my call. Also, he sent it with the blinker assembly disconnected and contacted me the day the truck was to be shipped to NC saying that he ordered a new signal switch that day and that I would have to install once the switch got here. The steering wheel is not centered and the horn does not work. Am also getting a clicking sound coming from the steering column under the hood. This was not happening before. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
