Wow! Why I am not suprised to see all the negative feed back! I recently purchased a car from Bart (the owner of HiTech) he swore nothing was wrong with this vehicle and that everything in it had been newley replaced. Not even a month later after purchasing it the Alternator went out. We called Bart to see if he was willing to do anyting for us. As we were telling him about this issue he jumped in saying "so I ... view moresuppose you want me to replace it!" "Fine, but I don`t ever want to hear from you again after this" We dropped the car off the next morning. Before leaving Bart went on to say, again how he didn`t want to hear from us again after this and that it was sold as is?ˆ¦.I replied "you could be nicer about this situation, after all you did insist there was nothing wrong with the car before we bought it" He said and I QUOTE "You know what, I should have junked that car, I never should have sold it to you" WTH?! LOL I could not believe he said that! He`s right he should have! He certainly wasn`t giving us a refund so we let him do the work for free. But, wow what a creep. He has an arragant attitude, is a terrible business man a liar and a jerk. Just a few days prior to this I brought in another car of mine to get a quote on replacing the front rear bushings. They offered to knock off $100 less than other shops I had checked in with?ˆ¦needles to say I will be happy to pay the other shop that extra $100 because I am so disgusted with his business ethics. We appreciate him doing the work for free but do not appreciate his lies and attitude. Like most of everyone has said in this thread?ˆ¦.You cannot trust him!

Nothing but horror stories, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TOUCH YOUR MOTOR. Money hungry moron. Guy tried to tell me to have them tune it when I called and asked if they had a Wideband O2 kit. Moron! Acted all cool acting like he knew what motor I had in my Cobalt SS. "oh yea 2.2 ecotec with a turbo right." Uh no, 2.0 LSJ with a Supercharger. Immediate dislike. Don`t act like you know if you don`t.

They are not worth $125/ hr

After picking up my vehicle I experienced a breakdown requiring dealer service due to lack of care taken by hitech on the install. I also had another system fail that I was able to repair, again due to lack of care on HiTech`s part.

They are very slow to take blame and make the customer feel like a penny pincher for requesting that Hi Tech pay for the damages.

have your check book ready!!! they will take you for a ride@@@ they promise alot but have not deliver!!! thr old ""stang has found another tuner that will treat her better.
