Great Service and Great repairs my family and I trust!

My family and have used the Coon Rapids Friestone for about 15 years now. I know most all the staff and love to talk car stuff with them. They give very helpful advice and anytime something is recommended, they bring me out and show me. Sure over 15 years, 3 kids learning to drive and about 9 cars there is a hickup every now and then but they have always been fair I believe. When I got to the store I talked with Ben McDuffie the store manager about what I read on the reviews. He said he also had a neighbor also told him about a bad review today. He admitted that there was an accident. They put the man in a rental car while his repaired. Didn`t charge for any of the work done that day which was done correctly and allowed him to pick a body shop of his choosing. You see this is the problem with ""Social Media"" ! Those of us that have great service tend to just get the great service and not tell anyone unless someone would say ""where do you get your car work done"". Some people just like to complain and the internet allows that to happen with ease. I`am almost 50 years old. I know what be service is! Firestone in Coon Rapids is great. Ben the manager has been with them for 20 years and his mechinics are very talented at what they do. I`am glad to have them on my side! PS The mechinic that had the accident was ASE certified and was an Anoka AVTI graduate. Accidents happen. Thats why they call it an accident! He was released and now works elsewhere doing his best I hope! I will tell my many neighbors and friends to write reviews to this and any other web sites to right the wrongs that I found today! Awful Quality and Had An ""Accident"" Driving My Car

Terrible quality work! Some of the most shoddy auto ""repair"" work I have ever seen. Poorly trained employees, don`t let them touch your vehicle!

On June 19, 2011, I brought my car in for a front brake pad job, oil change and fuel filter change. When I went to pick up my vehicle, much to my surprise and horror a service technician had smashed my vehicle into another vehicle in the parking lot. Firestone ... view moreagreed to pay for all damage and a rental car, but I have been getting the runaround (from the Corporate Office, Store Manager etc.) I have called the corporate office, but they just don`t seem to have any concept of customer service.

I brought my car in to be serviced in January, 2011. Firestone replaced a belt they said was causing a squeaking noise. I drove the car home, the squeaking noise continued. I brought the car back in for further service. The store manager, Ben McDuffie, stated it was the water pump. They replaced the water pump, the squeaking noise continued.

At this point I requested they I have my old water pump back so I could bring it to another mechanic to see, if there was really a problem with it or I was being charged for parts and labor I did not need. Ben McDuffie, the store manager, said he could not give me the old part back, which is in direct conflict with Minnesota Law. Finally, they agreed to replace my alternator for free, which solved the problem.

I drove my car off their property only to have it over heat. The Firestone Technician had forgotten to clamp the radiator hose...

Bottom Line: Avoid Firestone Coon Rapids and All Firestone Complete Auto ""Care"" Locations!
