Taken to the bank
I Installed a used ac compressor. So I took it to Blatz/Mach 5 in Ramsey for the service with the understanding it would be $40 for evacuation and recharge plus the cost of the Freon which was suppose to be $30. My total was suppose to be $70. When he was finished it was $125 for his work. He failed to tell me about the extra charges. He claimed it is posted outside and I said I had called, how am I suppose to see this over the phone. Is this bait and switch or what? This is the first and last time I will go to them. They are a bunch of crooks. I could have spent $70 dollars on the tools and did it myself? Another lesson learned - ouch. Well never the less my air conditioning is working again. I`m having thoughts of reporting him to the better business bureau.

When he was finished it was $125 for his work. He failed to tell me there was a $80 labor charge. ... view more I brought this to his attention and he claimed he was doing me a favor by servicing a used compressor. nice guys!
They did a good job figuring out all the problems and fixed little things they saw without billing it. They seem to be very honest people. I have been there twice for different things and they always have it done by the next day. Very convinient!
