I scraped some copper and had to argue with the guy about what type I had. I have gone to many other places and never had a problem. After a few minutes he agreed I had type one copper but when he priced it he gave me type two prices! He acted like I knew nothing even though I have scraped for years. Also when I unloaded the scrap steel nobody helped me unload it, but a guy stopped his loader got out watched me stru... view moreggle for 10 minutes while he smoked a cancer stick and as soon as I was done got back in the loader. Every other place I have been have gone out of their way to help unload but not here. If you go to Milford salvage expect to unload by yourselves and get paid under industry prices! I won`t be back ever!! Mann metal in walled lake is where I going from now on!

Never go here, they gave me on...

Never go here, they gave me one third of the average price for romex. When I asked why it was 1.40 when I first went in and all of the sudden a dollar less two weeks later he basically called me a liar. The man was extreemly rude and said i would need a receipt to prove it. I have been returning scrap to places for years and this was by far my worst experience. My brother and I was very pleased with all around service we got . They are prompt about towing and slavaging the car, and they we`re very professional and friendly. My brother said he also received the same great service when he went through them. I would definitely reccomend Milford Salvage to anyone who needs these types of services.

Very helpful people.

I originally called to see if these people were a JUNKYARD so i could get a price on a ford focus alternator. A man claimed they werent an auto salvage but offered to help. He gave me alot of great helpful information about murrays and where i could get my alternator checked for free. He did all this for free with a smile. (well i imagine one anyways) he was very friendly!
