My ball joints were making a t...

My ball joints were making a ton of racket, so I had my mechanic friend check them out [we had conflicting schedules so it wasn`t logistically possible for him to fix it for me at the time]. He warned me that it`s typically an expensive fix, but it`s very necessary. I called around to various mechanics` shops, knowing exactly what was in need of fixing, and most wouldn`t provide any indication of the cost of fixing... view more this problem. A few that I called quoted nearly $1000, because they `had` to fix all four. Automotive Authority said they would check out the car, but if the problem was what I said it was, it would be significantly cheaper than $1000. They fixed the ball joint, and I got an oil change, and made it out of there for less than $300. They informed me of a few things they saw as potential problems, but said that they weren`t urgent, just that I should keep an eye out for them. I had my mechanic friend check out the car afterward to make sure they actually did something [seeing as it was so inexpensive] and he said everything was done, and done well. I would highly recommend them!

I would recommend Automotive A...

I would recommend Automotive Authority to anyone I know. I had a busted radiator late on a Saturday afternoon (today), and although the shop "closed" at 6 pm, Tim Anderson stayed late to fix my car so I could be on my way. It would have been a giant inconvenience to leave it overnight since I live in Canton, and I highly appreciate his hard work today. And the price was very reasonable!

Very Friendly

I went into All Night Auto today, they were very friendly, let me look under my car while it was on the lift and let me see exactly what the problem was. They explained the different options I had and listened to my concerns. When I said I would have to wait to get my muffler fixed the young man at the counter said he could put a quick fix on my car to get me by for free! All Night Auto - take your business elsewhere

I had my car worked on 2 years ago because the lower gasket leaked, they had my car for 4 days to take care of. Within 6 months the place where I get my oil changed said that it was leaking. I went back to ANA and they said that they would give me the parts for free but the labor would be about $800. I took it to the dealership and they said that ANA over torqued the bolts and used a non certified inferror product... view more.

Very poor quality service

I could hear suspicion noises in my car that I thought were caused by transmission. Went to All Nite Auto. They said they couln not find anything wrong but had changed the fluid and charged me for that. Later on my transmission would not shift into 4th gear. Went there too. I had to wait for 4-5 days until they gave me my car back. When I got it I found that my driver`s window will not close (did not have any problem... view mores with it before giving the car to them). I returned the car to them and they charged me for that too - had to wait another 4-5 days for the car. Finally my transmiision had to be totally rebuilt - this time I went somewhere else. In the other shop they showed what my transmission fluid looked like - it was black - never changed.
