I got an estimate from Kevin at Ralley Import Auto for a timing belt, roller, tensioner, water pump, and alternator belt on my Audi. I got a $200 lower estimate from an Audi dealer and took it there. Turns out that the dealer did not do the rollers, tensioner, or alternator belt ""to save me money"". It was not long when one of the rollers siezed up, made a lot of noise, and ruined the timing belt. I caught it ... view morebefore it damaged the engine. It cost me a lot more than what Ralley would have done it for to begin with. I will take Kevin`s suggetions from now on. By the way Kevin has been an employee there for just short of 30 years.

always there to help

My wife and I have been customers of Rallye for many years. I travel a lot for business, and I always trust what the people at Rallye recommend for service and maintenance even when I am away half way around the world. My wife take my car or her car in and always gets all the information she needs to make a decision about a repair. It is a relief to have trusted people working on our cars.

Not so good....

Rallye Import Automotive simply is not up to snuff. Don`t let the luxury cars out front fool you, Rallye is just one step above the average repair shop, but 6 or 7 steps up on the pay-scale. LONG repairs (months, sometimes, from what I have heard) and abrasive staff are just the beginning of the low lights. I have never been this frustrated with an auto repair in my life. I would abandon my beloved car to be rust be... view morefore I would let Rallye work on it again. But the worst part is that they are about the only shop that knows how to work on European cars. That`s why you see review after review of really disappointed customers. Thats also why they get to treat customers so poorly, take their grand old time, and charge whatever they want. They get a star just for that, unfortunately.

they FIXED my V-DUB!

Got my classy ride VW jetta about a year ago. Its a sweet ride and its tighte on gas too! Had a few prob`s with it latey, when to the VW dealership & ended up spendin $$$ on a repair they couldn`t fix! :(
Found out about a place over in midland, Rallye IMport out on m-20 goin to CMU. TOok it there 4 the stuff the other place couldnt fix and they got `her done the FIRST TIME! Man, hard to find guyz that know a... view morebout fixin V-Dub`s rite, but i found rallye to get other small stuff fixed 2. Be sure that for vw repairs rallye is the place to go and its gota cool, retro waitin room!

experts in a specialized field!

My husband and I recently moved from southern Michigan to mid-mich for a new job-yes, there are new job openings in Michigan! We came to find out after a few months that there are limited repair shops in the area that truely know about import cars-but then my husband found out about Rallye. The service needed was minimal, just a few maintenance items and a front end alignment. We dropped off our volvo wagon on Tue... view moresday and got it back the same day--we NEVER had that where we took our vehicles. If you ever take your car in for repair downstate, if you get it back in 3 days that`s considered fast. My husband and I were extremely pleased and impressed on how fast the job took and the accuracy for the repairs-not a thing was missed! We are very happy and will be going back to this establishment for anything needed in the future.

Much better options available

This repair shop has built a solid reputation that many years ago may have been earned. Unfortunately, owner`s care and attention to detail does not extend to his abrasive and indifferent helpers. You will be hard-pressed to get any help from the owner unless you stake out the place early in the morning to catch him as hes coming into work, or the spelling of your name begins with a D and an r.
