So to start, I`m definitely NOT a person who knows anything about cars... I`m a 20 year old blonde girl who drives a VW bug! My dad is a mechanic, but he`s a fairly "cheapest and fastest fix possible" type, so I knew I`d have to go elsewhere for repairs when I bought the bug! I have gotten countless repairs done on my `99 car, and it runs beautifully. I`ve recommended them to all of my friends, and they`re happy customers as well. Ladies beware!!! I am a lady...

Ladies beware!!! I am a lady who dose know a litte about cars. This is one for the books. I went in with a CLUNK in right the front of my van. I could not imagine what it could be because I had just had all new front end work done in another state. I do live in Michigan and purchase the parts here. I took them with me and had them done there and came home. When I took the van to Toms, Even Before they drove ... view moreit to the stall, He told me that it was my busshings and wrote it on the paper!!! I said I did not think so but if that was the problem to please make sure to give me the parts ( as I was returning to the other state in a few days again ) I was wondering when they came back out to tell me that Yes it is the bushing( in about 10 minutes) AND not even a TEST drive. I let them fix it and then I returned to pick it up! On the way home the cluncking returned so I called right away and I said I would bring the car back in and also that I could not find my parts. They said they were closeing and that I could bring it another day.Also, they would look for my parts. I had only been gone from there a half hour so I knew they had to be there. The next morning I called for an appointment AND about my parts and I WAS TOLD THAT THE GARBAGE TRUCK HAD COME THE NIGHT BEFORE and thats probably what happen to my parts. AND AFTER ALL sense I had the work done in another state I probably would not be going back there anyway and really would not be needing them!!!! TOMS AUTO DID NOT WORK ON MY CAR AND CHARGED ME A LOT OF MONEY AND REFUSE TO GIVE ME MY PARTS...WHICH IS AGAINIST THE LAW!!! This did happen a few months ago but I just found them on here and can not let this go. To bad there is a NO Star Rateing!!!

Had a Leak in my Cooling System Toms found a hole In My raidiator replaced it in a timely maner & got Me back on the road for a very good price THANKS GUYS FOR A GOOD JOB !!!!

Great Repair Shop

My brother had used this repair shop a number of times and raved about how good their work is and the reasonable charges. I have since had repairs done here and have no complaints. They try to work with you if you have to have your car back by a certain day or time. If they don`t know if they can get it finished in time they will tell you that up front. Exceptional

Inspite of the last review. I was a customer of Toms and let me tell ya, they where great. They dropped a motor in my car. Reasonable price and excellent customer service. I am a woman that knows nothing about cars. They didn`t take advantage of me and was very upfront and honest. I shopped around before making my final decision. I would recommend Toms family Auto to friends and family!
