Bought a 2000 Volkswagen from this place. Had multiple mechanics check it out. The price was bumped up because they completely rebuilt the transmission. They wouldn t tell us where the work was done. We put over $1000 into this car with a new battery, a new alternator, and by fixing multiple leaks 2 months later at the dealership. 8 months later, we brought the car back because of major problems with the transmission... view more. The owner wouldn t even drive the car. He THEN told us that he had the transmission done at Doug s Transmission. Doug s transcripts said that they only did some REPAIR work on the trans. Recently, another mechanic discovered that there s more things on the car that were covered up, and that it shouldn t be on the road. They will only do enough to pass by. I wouldn t recommend this place to my worst enemy. They outright lied to our face. I have heard terrible things about this place from numerous people.
