Took my Fiance`s car in to hav...

Took my Fiance`s car in to have an Alignment done after a little too close encounter with a guardrail. (I figured there may be something wrong, but didn`t expect much.) They did get the car in Very quickly, that is where the positives end. The Guy ran the Alignment tester machine and told me, "Its way bad." "Undrivable" he also said. (i drove it there, and away, and to Detroit with no ill effects)... view more. He started Telling me all these parts that were bad and that they needed repaired immediately. They then started quoting me repairs, tie rods, struts, steering knuckle, wheel bearing, and rear trailing Axle (which, BTW, doesn`t even exist on this car!) all without ever removing a lugnut! The total was approaching $1200, and that didn`t even include the Rim that was evidently damaged! Defenitly time for a second opinion. Struts were bad (150K miles on the car, probably due anyway)and the reason for such bad alignment turned out to be a bent rim... one would think a tire shop would catch that!

Great for buying TIRES

Purchase 4 Dunlap Signature tires with nitrogen and feel great on car. The bad feeling they gave me was they wantec close to a thousand dollars for front end service in which there is not a problem with the front end. Looking to report this estimates to Lansing and like to warn other people not to get major car service there. Remember they call themselfs Belle TIRE.
