Look Elsewhere; thank me later
This place received Hour Detroit honors? I guess that makes sense coming from a publication that calls WAB the best microbrewery. They obviously have no idea what they are talking about!
I was optimistic at first, as Autometric seems more upscale than most collision repair shops. Also, the initial inspection of my vehicle seemed professional; they took a picture and really seemed to take a close look at the da... view moremaged areas. So they excel at the pre-sales portion of the experience.
Everything went downhill from that point. With excessive delays, unbelievably poor communication, and a devil-may-care attitude, I felt like it was their personal mission to torture me and I honestly couldn?t wait for the ordeal to end.
You may ask yourself why do you care if the insurance company is paying? Well, you still have to deal with them throughout the process. If you choose Autometric, you better hope there is no need to go back for warranty work afterwards.
My advice is to avoid this place like the plague; there are much better local shops that may not look as fancy, but will treat you like you probably expect to be treated; with a little respect.
