This shop has undergone a complete renovation over the recent years. The owner and the manager care very much about this shop and it is apparent not only in the outside appearance, but inside as well. The staff tries hard to do work to the customers expectations. People need to realize that car shops are competitively priced and will try to please their customers, but to have a good work done on your car you will... view more need to pay a good price and sometimes the price may not be as low as you expect, but this shop tries to meet your price expectations. And in my case, what would have cost me over one thousand dollars at Bell Tire, cost me less than half at this place and it wasn`t shotty work. Great place. Trustworthy. Good prices. Take a look! :)

do NOT take your car here. these people are crooks and from what i can tell don`t know anything about cars. had my brakes "done" and they siezed up 24 hours later and need another 400$ in work. manager refused to address the issue. horrible business and anything you have done will have to be fixed at another shop. when contacted manager just hung up.

Mixed Review

The Pro: My brother (who is somewhat of a gear head) had been having nothing but problems with his 1993 GTA and no one in his state could figure out what was wrong with it. When he moved back to Michigan, he went to Mac`s and they immediately located the problem and fixed it. My brother was thrilled to say the least. The Con: While my brother was talking to the mechanic that was working on his car, I (not ... view morea gear head) asked Nick for a quote for a tune up on my own 1993 Trans Am. This manager, having the opportunity to bring in another customer acted like he didn`t really want to be bothered. When I mentioned a quote from a competitive shop down the street, which I no longer do business with; Nick shrugged and told me that it was a good deal and basically brushed me off as if to say "Go there and get it done then." Two days later, my brother called Nick and asked for a definite quote from Mac`s for my car and the price he was given was at least $200 more than two other places we had gotten a quote from. Result: On behalf of my brother I would reccomend they check the place out but on my behalf I would caution the person to shop around first before committing and getting overcharged. Reccomendation to the owner of Mac`s Auto Repair & Performance: Teach Nick to be a lot more customer friendly. His "I don`t need you as a customer" attitude rankled me enough to never want to bring my business to your establishment.

I HAVE TAKEN MY MINI VAN TO MAC`S AUTO NOW FOR 2.5 YEARS, IT IS WAY OUT OF MY WAY, TAKES ME 30MIN TO GET THERE; BUT EVERY TIME IS WORTH IT EVEN FOR AN OIL CHANGE , I HAVE NEVER RECIEVED LESS THAN THE BEST PRICING AND THE BEST WORK FOR MY VAN....
