Waste of time
This location is the closest location to my home, being 30 miles away. I called the location asking how much it would cost to repair a hole in my radiator. They quoted me $40. I asked how long it would take, they said half a day and that they could have it in the following morning to repair. All was fine and dandy. I found someone to follow me up to this location, spent an hour driving to this out of the way tow... view moren with someone following me, arrived at the location. First, they looked at me blankly when I stated I was dropping my car off. They then stated that the $40 wouldn`t begin to cover repairing the radiator because it was still in the car. When I had been on the phone with them the day before, they did not inquire if I would bring just the radiator or the car in, they simply stated this..We`ve all been there, we call a car repair shop asking how much it is to repair something. No car repair shop ever expects you to bring JUST the part that needs repairing.
They then stated they wouldn`t be able to get to it "until sometime next week". I`m the average person, I don`t have time for "sometime next week". If I`m told the next day, then I expect "the next day". I also expect the quote given on the phone to be honored, however, they made me out to be like I was dumb and did not know what I was talking about when I did not pull the radiator out to be repaired.
Needless to say, I drove my vehicle back home, and after wasting nearly 3 1/2 hours, I`m back where I started, except with less gas. Next time, I`ll stick to my local car repair shop that I`ve been going to for 10 years instead of giving this pathetic excuse for a shop a chance.
