Reviews:
I purchased a used 2004 Mazda6 at Gallo in April 2013. At first the sales person Kevin and general manager Chris seemed very nice. I brought a friend along with me who is a mechanic in order to make a smart and thoughtful decision. We test drove the car and my friend checked out the exterior and the engine. There was a part in the engine that needed replacing. It was a simple, cheap fix (just a small plastic part tha... view moret had cracked due to the age of the car). The only other thing he noticed was the poor condition of the 2 front tires. Both Kevin and the GM assured me these problems would be fixed without Incident. It was my fault that I did not get it in writing and I will not make that mistake again, but a contract is a contract whether it be verbal or written. I got the car a few days later. The plastic engine part was fixed but only one tire was replaced which makes no sense. Also, the car failed MA inspection due to catalytic converter problems. They said they would fix it but had to order the part. A week or so goes by and I still did not receive a call that the part was in so I called to check. The part was never even ordered. I waited another week, they replaced the part and told me to put miles on the car so sensors could reset in order to pass inspection. Sure enough the check engine light came back on and I needed another catalytic converter. This time they sent the car out for work. I dropped it off on a Friday and they said it would be done that day. Sure enough, no call! And when I called to ask about the cars status at the other garage imagine how pleased I was to hear that the other garage was not open until Monday! Anyways... Picked the car up on Monday and brought up the fact that the tire was not replaced. The GM was totally condescending and rude to me. I am a 23 year old female college graduate and this was the first time I had bought a car. I believe they took advantage of me and were completely unprofessional. The salesman Kevin even admitted to me that he "did not know anything about cars." And the GM Chris called me kiddo and said that I only asked for one tire. This is not true and I was later told the tire would not be replaced due to the money put into the car in order to get my inspection sticker. Well it is not my fault they tried to sell me a car with illegal emissions. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Gal...
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Gallo is what gives car dealers a bad name. Their parts dept has to be the worst in New England, ordering wrong part numbers, not accepting returns and having employees with rude and condescending attitudes. They are a total waste of time and should not even be considered by anyone with car needs.

Gallo service by Steven Ka and Matt Gledhill
Had about 15 Different Acura TSX`s I was looking at online. Submitted a request via Cars. com and was immediately greeted a response by Matt Gledhill. Set up a time to come in and worked with Matt and Steven Ka through the whole process. Steve was easy to sit down and negotiate with (even though it went on for a couple of days before coming to an agreement). He was very honest and fair through the whole process and p... view morerovided me with constant and quick responses to all of my questions. Though I may not be the easiest buyer they worked with, they and Gallo were a very easy dealer to purchase from. Would give my business and recommend again.

Gallo provides terrible service
Gallo charged me for repairs I believe they did not complete. In addition, they are unwilling to provide documentation that the repairs were complete. In June, I was charged 1700 for service at Gallo Volvo. They claimed to have done a regular service (including an oil change), fix the check engine light and repair the brakes. I also asked that they check the gas cap. Immediately after leaving, the check engine light ... view moreand oil light went on. I made the appointment for the repair on 9/7 and, when I dropped the car off, I was treated very rudely by Mr. Naylor and then informed that the part had not been ordered. I`m still not sure why he had made an appointment to fix my car without the necessary part. On 9.8, I brought the car to an independent shop. He added 4.5 quarts of oil to the car and replaced the gas cap. The car runs fine now. I have called and e-mailed Gallo asking for documentation of what repairs were completed. I have been refused. I`ve asked for, at a minimum, a refund of the cost of the oil change. I have been refused. I believe that Gallo does unnecessary repairs, and that they charge customers for repairs they did not make.
