Went in for an oil change left with an empty wallet

Weell i went in for an oil change,and a tuneup. Which usually costs around 30 or 40 dollars.. Somehow i ended up paying 800 for the tuneup and the oil change. He said he had to move something away from the motor,he gave me no details on what it was only the reciept for the bill.So if you want to get screwed big time GO TO MIKES AUTO,hell give you the biggests lube job youve ever had

Absolute Fraud

If there were a place that deserved an undercover camera crew for an expose on corrupt repair shops this is it.

I brought my car in for an oil change to support a local business and ended up w/over 700.00 in charges. In so many words, they are absolute rip-off artists. Would not show me the parts replaced, etc. I then had to have all the work re-done at a car dealership that could not believe the job that was... view more done on the brakes as it was so dangerous.

Please do not give these guys business. They benefit from an up and coming location in South Boston and it kills me that that will keep them in business.
