The present site occupied Midway Automotive at 411 Brockton Avenue in Abington has been in use as an auto dealership for some 40 years. Abington Subaru was at this location for over 30 years, closing its doors in 1996. The connection between Abington Subaru and present day Midway Automotive is not so obvious, though. The former general manager at the Subaru store was Phil Infiorati, a Vietnam veteran and experienced car business professional who hailed from Maine. In 1981, Phil hired a 17-year old lad from the neighborhood to work as a -lot boy. - The lad worked hard; he parked cars, swept the sales lot, went for coffee, and performed any and all manner of jobs that Phil could create. Neither had any idea how things would evolve over the years and, certainly, neither imagined how the roles would change. You see the young lad Phil hired as a -lot boy-was Abington`s own Mike Deveney, the owner principal of the present day Midway Automotive. One of first things Mike did was to bring Phil back to the new Midway Automotive as General Sale`s manager. Now, after thirteen years in business, Mike and his wife Lucy are reminiscent of the old- fashioned American success story. They worked very hard to develop and maintain an exemplary record of customer service at Midway. Their business was built on integrity and respect and they are proud to have an extended family of customers who number in the thousands. Put your trust in Midway you`ll be glad you did. bought my first truck from them loved it , loved the service , free oil changes for as long as you own it . had a few small problems with tranny lines and brake`s , but had repairs done else wares CHEAPER . had a small problem with the check engine light coming on but they fixed it for free (loose wire ) . had my son go to them and he bought a truck from them . he loves it and drove it back to the navy base in va , ... view moreno problems .and both of us were given a car fax at the sales . please note these cars/trucks are used so what you buy is what you get . know what you are buying before you take it home . wear and tear on a car/truck is your problem .

Do not buy a vehicle from Midway Auto! I bought a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer from them under a year ago. Within 2 months my radiator and power steering lines were leaking. of course, not covered in the warranty they MAKE you buy. Within 8 months my front wheel bearing assembly, a serpentine belt, and all my tires needed to be replaced. At a cost, not including the tires of $1200. Once again, none of that covered in the w... view morearranty. Midway Auto WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR VEHICLES. These guys are just like every other Used car dealership, we have all heard about.
