Damaged my car!

This place was a nightmare for me. Prior to taking my car in for repairs due to a fender-bender, I checked the Better Business Bureau as well as yelp and city search reviews -- everyone thought they were pretty good (other than paint jobs, which my car didn`t need), so I took it in since it was one of the sites my insurance guaranteed. The adjuster had quoted that the work would take one day -- nope, A+ asked f... view moreor five days. They also said the trunk was no longer aligned due to the accident and that they needed more money from my insurance company. Five days later....I go to pick up my car and THE BUMPER ISN`T EVEN ATTACHED TO THE CAR on the sides. The bumper itself had dings and scratches all over it. And, the trunk was not at all aligned although they had successfully requested more money for it. To boot, THEY APPEARED TO HAVE SCRATCHED UP MY ENTIRE DRIVER`S SIDE -- both doors and hood. There was also a large, new dent on my hood. When I took my car in to complain about the fact that: 1) they had not even repaired the basic things they were supposed to, and 2) they had further damaged my car, John was argumentative and denied that it was their fault. I finally convinced him to come look at my car and he admitted that the bumper was an incredibly shoddy job. He later revealed that what I thought were scratches were actually GLUE from the bumper smeared all over my car!! I will admit that once John realized they had totally screwed up my car, he became very nice and gave me some free paint and offered to fix the dent -- but the car would have to be left overnight at my expense on a rental. But, I shouldn`t have been made to waste hours waiting while they fixed the bumper and buffed off the glue and I shouldn`t have had to scream and yell before he admitted they messed up and made it right. And, I shouldn`t have to pay for a rental car (note: his daughter works at the Hertz they are affiliated with) while they repair the damage they caused. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!! P.S. John tried to tell me that all the negative reviews were from other auto body shops -- well, this one`s not...and I don`t think the others are either.

Use them often

Everyone there is great and they employ all local folks. We`ve used them for probably 15 years and though they sometimes make mistakes they have always made good at no extra charge. Even helped with a SNAFU about a replacement car rental. They are the antithesis of the Maccos of this world. We don`t have tons of money and they`ve been creative about finding ways to keep the cost down. I suppose if I was obses... view moresed with how my car looked I might use someone more expensive but they do a great job at a good price.

The Methuen Satellite does great work!

Someone rear-ended my Corvette. I was recommended this shop by my insurance company and read some reviews and brought my car in. The gentleman in Methuen took my car in and got my car looking perfect.

They helped out with the insurance company as well. Overall, a great place and if I need work done again, I`ll be going back. Definitely reccomend them if you need your car/truck fixed.

Very friendly but extremely unsatisfied with service

The people working at A-Plus were always very friendly. That said it took them two weeks to replace a bumper. When I did finally get my car back they had scratched several body panels. I took the car right back and pointed several of them out. They were able to buff out some of the scuffs but there`s still a large scratch on one of the panels adjacent to the bumper. No doubt they dragged the bumper against the... view more panel while they were lining it up. I was able to spot these scuffs and scrapes immediately when I walked around the car. People working in a body shop should be able to do the same. Only a few months later the corner of the bumper got a small ding that would normally be hard to even see. The paint exploded off the bumper like a glass against a brick wall. I had a friend who has worked in an auto body shop look at it and he said they didn`t score the bumper properly and it doesn`t even look like they primed it. So the paint didn`t stick to the plastic bumper like it should. So now I need to get the bumper redone on my car. I am completely unsatisfied with the service I received.

Honest, Helpful and Considerate

A+ Auto Body is truly a bright light in what can sometimes be a dark and shady industry...they are professional, honest and helpful. They price very fairly and deliver the product in a timely manner! Would not use any other auto body store.

great collision choice

A plus auto body, arranged my car to be picked up. Got us a rental delivered to my house. Negotiated the estimate with the insurance co. who also recomended them. And delivered my car to me beautiful again . Thank you.
