They tried to cheat me

I went for work done on brakes done in 2001 and saw printouts of their glowing reviews on cartalk.com etc., plastered all over the place, which I took as a bad sign, so I was leery A gas smell was coming from my car and I mentioned it to them. When I went to pick up my car they told me that my gas tank had a crack and had to be replaced, for multiple hundreds of dollars. I told them I`d have my brother look at i... view moret. He did and couldn`t find a crack. The tank was fine. Eight years later, no more gas smell ever, no problem with the tank ever. The gas smell was probably just something I tracked in on my shoes at the gas station. These guys are crooks.

Driving out with more problems than when I drove in!

I took in a 2000 Honda Civic with brake problems, and I drove out with an engine light on that led to 330 more in costs of repair. The brakes were over-priced (a mechanic friend of mine in Chicago priced honda parts and labor), by about 100, but for convenience I paid it. However, the engine light coming on was too much of a coincidence to believe that it had nothing to do with being at the mechanic. It came on on... view more the way home from the shop. I went back to complain and I was treated as if they were the victims to be accused of anything, and anyone but them (me) was to blame. I will not go back, and I have been treated better and had better service at the Honda dealership at Fresh Pond.
