Outdrive damage from submerged object

I could blame the wind, or the channel markers, or the charts, or my wife- but the bottom line is that I had my 34` cruiser in a place where it should not have been, and I heavily damaged both outdrives. Bent 4 stainless steel propellors and broke the skeg on both outdrives. The marina wanted a little over $7000 to rebuild both lower units and associated labor.
I had the boat hauled, removed the outdrives and b... view morerought them both to Kent`s. He said ""we can fix them"".
I asked him ""when"" but not ""how much"". I wanted my boat back in the water. He said give me 24 hrs to get replacement skegs from my supplier, and 24 hrs to complete the repair. Sure enough, 2 days later I drove out with both outdrives repaired. The damage was undetectable. Total cost for parts and labor: $425. That was over a year ago and they are still performing fine. The other $6500? We are pouring it into the fuel tanks $500 at a time! I would go back to Kent anytime. (Confidentially, I think his wife Janelle is the real boss)

RV Overheating & Kent Helped get us back on the road

Our RV was overheating. We were refered to Kent`s Welding & Radiator Service. We ended up there having our cooling system repaired. Kent`s staff went out of their way to help me & my wife. They were fast & efficient. I was pleased that they were professional & the price was reasonable.

I found Kent`s Welding to be very professional.

I had some antique wrought iron chairs, that have been in my family for years. I was afraid I would have to take them to the dump. Kent`s Welding repaired them and they are good as new. You could not tell that they had been broken & in pieces. I thought that the price was fair, they even painted them for me.

Do NOT USE THEM

Kent Completely screwed up a very simple job I asked him to do. He should retire and stop over charging for poor workmanship. I have to buy new trim tabs for my boat because he damaged the ones I had. He said he could fix them and then made them so bad my marina said they were beyond repair.
