I work at a merchants in Rockville md and all the custormers that come to the know store and I can tell u that as many cars that I worked on not one of them came back because I made sue that noted everything that I saw and gave a estimate to show wat the damage is so that way it give the custormer a idea

Stuck on 50 and they got me going!

I hit HWY 50 at 5:30 pm to go to the shore and my battery light turned on... I called the dealer and they stated Monday at best. I Called a mechanic buddy and he told me to take it to Merchants. I got there at about 6:00 pm The Please was very clean, Staff was professional and they diagnosed it as an alternator and suggested a Battery as mine was getting old. They took me out and showed me the problem where the alter... view morenator was burnt up. The Manager Drove to get the part and the mechanic stayed late to get me done. I drive for a living and have over a million miles under my belt and while I read some of the complaints below... I didn`t see any evidence of that. Was was happy with the service, the price and them showing me what happened. And it was a Friday night!!

Avoid this Horrible Place

Merchant`s Tire Annapolis is pathetic and should be avoided. The place is staffed by clowns, from the front counter on back. Avoid this place. The list of complaints against this outfit is lengthy, from non-existent customer service to complete incompetence and negligence in the work bays. Bad Place

Do not bring your car to this facility. I brought my car to Merchants located on West Street and was overcharged for repairs. The staff is unprofessional and the mechanics are incompetent. The mechanics are not knowledgeable. They will try to have you purchase additional repairs that your vehicle does not require. Beware

Merchants has damaged my vehicle. They tried to diagnose why my check engine light was on and they charged me for service that did not turn off my check engine light. Merchants tried several times to correct the problem and could not. They still charged me and would not refund my money that I have paid. Dont go to Merchants

I have visited the Merchants several times for car repairs. It took me 4 visits to realize that the employees did not know what they are doing. I have had nothing but problems with this shop. They have switched managers several times. The service manager has falsely advised me that I needed repairs. The repairs that should have been done, was not. They could not even perform a simple oil change. The service ma... view morenager stated to me that the oil change was done. When I arrived home, my oil stick was missing and my oil filter was not changed. I have complained to Merchants Corporate office. They have not responded back to me. I will report this shop to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). A word of advise, always check out a company with the BBB to verify if a company has had previous complaints on file. It would save you a headache.
