I only took the car there for ...

I only took the car there for a flat tire. $15 to fix and put back on. They even put the spare back in the spot under the mat. For the work they did they were nice and quick about it.

Ripoff Auto Repairs

I hope this review helps someone from being taken
advantage of like our family. We are new to the area
and a coworker suggested Car Doc for problems
with my car. When I first went there they seemed very
nice and did the repair fast and the price appeared
reasonable. I took our second car there and the
price was more but different car not the same problem
but I noticed we start having frequent ... view moreproblems with
both cars and the price just got worse each time.
Now my car is still having problems and we have
spent a fortunate. I also called another repair shop
not to far and the price over the phone was much
cheaper than Car Doc.

Save yourself some money and time and don`t take
your car there.

Suggest finding another garage to confirm work/opinion

We`d taken our vehicles there for over 3 years, and have recently found another garage because we didn`t trust the last estimate/diagnosis for our vehicle. After taking our SUV to another shop we were told the work didn`t need to be done and the cost we`d been quoted was at least $100 too much. Then with our second car found that a part replaced less than 6 months before (and only a few thousand miles) appeared to ... view morebe a LOT older than it should be - their opinion was that we had gotten a used part. So now we go to a garage that is always busy and may take an extra day to repair the vehicle but they really do a good job and we pay a lot less.

Been using them for 3 years, just finding out now that they have probably been giving us used parts

We`ve taken 2 separate cars to Car Doc for 3 years now and after getting an estimate that seemed too large after my research on the internet we took our SUV to another shop - the total was over $100 less, but only if I chose to have the work done because there was no reason to replace what I`d been told by Car Doc, HAD to be replaced. We took our second car to the new garage and was told that one of the parts that h... view moread supposedly been replace by Car Doc looked to be years old. After having them examine other parts replaced at Car Doc - found those to be the same, looked used and paid way, way too much. When we first started going to Car Doc they were always busy, lately they always have time and I can see why. We will never go back to Car Doc, even though we live on Ft. Meade and they are the closest - I would have my car towed to another garage first!

Fantastic people

Have been going to CarDoc for over two years and they have always been very honest, pleasant people to deal with. They are not like most other businesses, they never try to rip you off. If they tell you your car will be ready at a certain time they mean it. Very dependable and reputable and the most reasonable prices I have ever seen. Much better service than a car dealer.
