Reviews:

Poor service, shabby job
1) Their repairs spanned 4 months. The same repairs my new mechanic did in one day. 2) Claimed I brought my vehicle in a day I wasn`t even in the country. 3) Fixed things I didn`t ask them to fix (and charged me for them) 4) Didn`t actually fix my problem (my car overheated, and they never actually fixed the cooling system. It overheated again.) 5) Rarely answered the phone and never returned my messages... view more 6) Their mechanic asked me to get him a visa to Israel (WTF??) I`m never going back.

Excellent Service
I have been a customer of AA Auto for 5 years and I have always received excellent service. I have purchased two cars and AA Auto has serviced both of my automobiles only with high quality materials. The staff members always maintain a very professional attitude. I have never been dissappointed by their display of good/positive customer service skills. Not only are they patient, but they operate as a family and w... view moreill always invite you to feel a part of their family as well. They have established a good rapport with many customers. Their prices are reasonable and I will continue to look forward in doing business with them. I call them the "Auto Care Specialist" simply because they do care. AA Auto, continue to keep up the good work..

i disagree
i think they do excellent work. like all companies they will not be the best to everyone but i have found over my having thm work on 4 of my family`s cars thay william is very knowledgeable. many of my friends get their cars repaired there as well and we have had no problems. if you yell at someone they might yell at you back that`s human nature. but i ahve never experienced it it there

I got yelled at this shop
...and still had to pay for a shabby job that I got redone at a different service shop. I would never go there again and would not even recommend even a minor job like oil change or tire rotation. William, who wrote a business response to a previous review also promised to make their mess up to me. He never called... To survive in this economy, one should show extra care on service.

Good Service, Great Location
I took my BMW coupe to AA for an oil change today. I had thought of going down to BMW of Arlington, but they require you to schedule an appointment about a week in advance! I live and work in DC, and AA`s location can` t be beat -- about 5 blocks from the Judiciary Square metro. I think they also have a free pick up/delivery service. I found all of the staff to be courteous and professional, and the price for ... view morea full synthetic oil change was reasonable at $95. They also washed and vacuumed my car, which was a nice, unexpected touch, and in my experience a rarity among independent auto shops. The people at AA seem to run good shop, and I will bring my car back to them the next time service is required.

Rude and Condescending
I had an oil change at the shop and new rear light bulbs put in. I returned to the shop after a bulb that they put in didn`t work. The shop owner accused me of breaking the bulb and, in a condescending way, said that only real professionals should handle the bulbs. He asked if everything else was alright; I sais, "yes" but that I thought charging $105 to change the oil was excessive. He then said that I must ... view morebe reading the invoice wrong. I showed the invoice to him and he said that it wasn`t expensive and asked when and where was the last time I got my oil changed. I told him I had never paid that much, and then.... he accused me of being a racist. He said, "You think because I am black I am overcharging you?" I stared at him and said "incredible" and got in my car and told him I would never be back. He called me "you people" and said "you white people" several times. Incredible! Expensive. Rude. Condescending. And accuses people of racism. What an incredible experience.
