During May 2011, I took my 2011 Jeep to this place for an oil change. Despite me taking 2 other vehicles here previosly, this time was different. They told me that since 2000, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, etc now require either partial or full synthetic oil to be used. Note that this was not the first oil change with this vehicle and previosly I owned a 2004 dodge... view more 1500 as well as a 2007 Durango, neither of which reqired this type of oil.
Long story short, I reqested conventional 5w20 and they told me that this might void the warranty? I contacted Jeep directly as well as reveiwed the Owners Manual. Both sources indicated that conventional oil is completely fine and will not void this warranty.
These guys attempted to scam me! Conseqently, I will not visit this organization again, nor would I recommend you. A basic oil change, using conventional oil, is already $46.00. Obviously just trying to take advantage of us...
