This place is fantastic. They stand by their work. The manager has everything under control and aims to please the customers. I`ve had 2 cars tinted here and I recommend them to everyone. The extended warranty is totally worth the money because if you accidentally scratch your tint (like someone did to mine) they will replace it free of charge.

AAAA++++++ #1 Great Job!
BEST OF THE BEST. Took my car there because tint was illegal from another state and was moving to Md. They removed it and re-did with 35% borderline legal after inspection. Took 1 hour unlike the other guy in Dundalk who said he needed car for 2 days! Guys were very nice and shop was more like a salon for your car. Very clean and professional. Decretary was very nice and informative. Will be back soon when I get new ... view morecar. Best tint shop in all my years of experience and atleast 7 different states. Ive seen some real hatch jobs. They are by far the best #1.

Do not go to D L at 10811 Pulaski Highway
I took my car to have the windows tinted and a strip put across the top of my windshield. What I got was a cracked windshield. I was in the customer lounge waiting. When a young man came in and ask me to step into the garage to look at my car. My windshield was cracked right where the rearview mirror is glued to the windshield, he said it was that way when they drove it in, however all the windows were covered and... view more I had paid the bill. (If you don`t take this warning before they move your car make sure they go over the windows) I now have a cracked windshield which will cost around $300.00 they said they would remove the tinting on the windows and give my money back, that was the only Offer Thay Gave ME, I had no other options but to take the refund.

SUPERIOR
I cannot help but laugh at the bad review given to the best tinting facility in Maryland. I am in my fifties and have children in their twenties. Our entire family uses D&L for every single vehicle we get. I would say approx 8-10 vehicles of my own, 4 of my wifes, and 6-7 between my children have been tinted by D&L. They also tinted the window in our home and did a beautiful job. I have referred them to sever... view moreal friends, family members as well as neighbors in our community and everyone seems to be pleased. They are the easiest people to get along with and I cannot understand how anyone could feel differently. I pass by there everyday on my way to and from work and the place is always neat and tidy and the owner personally opens and closes everyday. He can be seen outside cutting the grass and blowing the debris off of the parking lot. They have the most comfortable waiting room and although the technicians are of young adulthood, they are trained well in what they do. Everyone has to start somewhere and as with every career, there will always be training and the lower man on the totam pole. Highly Recommended. Unlike these other inhabitable fly by night tint shops that are there one day and gone the next. No Refunds but everything down to the possibility of damaging your rear defrosters(which is extremely unlikely) is explained in their disclaimer. You even select the shades prior- your choice! All you have to do is read and asks questions if you have any!!! Sounds like the guy above is a real winner anyway. Listen to his tone. Go to D&L and they will treat you right and if you have doubts, go check them out for yourselves-you won`t be disappointed.

Never Again
Just about 2 years ago I wanted tinting done on my car, which I know I could have done cheaply, but I figured going with a major name in the field would garauntee me a great finished product. D & L window tinting in White Marsh really threw me under the bus, repeatedly, and I`ve never regretted going to a business so badly in my life.
After initially hearing a good review, I took my 1990 mustang lx there to ge... view moret the full works, mid-grade quality option 5% tint (illegal) and the extended warrenty so that`d they replace it if I got pulled over. After signing my life away, the long wait for their leisurely young crew began. They put the windshield strip of tint so far down it was halfway down the windshield, then they wanted to charge me to cut it back to a safe visible level. The kids removing the old tint also got his amonia cleaner all over my back seats and trim which partially stained it, they told me I did this myself probably and refused to clean it, so I had to do it myself at home. It was such a mess I couldn`t believe that it was left in such a careless manner. Not only this, but I stood there and watch the teenager who was prepping the windshield scrap off all my rear windsheild defrosters on the inside while cleaning the old adhesive off with a plastic scraper. He was being trained but a slightly older guy there, who he routinely had to stop and wait to ask questions to about what to do. Although you have to sign a waiver saying you know the defrosters may be damaged since they are very fragile, this careless detruction of my car was completly unessecary and easily avoidable. The rear windows looked very sloppy and were not adheared around the perimeters at all which I had to fix.... ok I`m not happy for what I paid an unbelievable $340 for, but whatever.
I soon got pulled over and went back to use the extended insurance/warrenty I bought just for this reason, only to find out they charge you to remove it all again....so there really was no point except for the material cost. As the young man was cutting out the tint material on my back window (how they measure the shape sometimes) his razor slipped off the window and put about a 26" long gouge through my new blue paint job all the way down to the primer....upon telling the owner this he told me "you did that yourself theres no way we did that tint goes on the inside". I quickly realized there was no winning with him, they don`t stand behind their work. They do nothing but play games with you, which I assumed would happened the second I saw the young flirtatious girls they hire at the front desk to try to diffuse their angry customers (such as me) by flirting with them rather than fixing the problem. I don`t want your bs, I want my countless hours of time and aggraivation back, as well as the grand total of over $650 I spent in the end on my 2-door car. I now go to private shops for tint that charge not even 1/4 as much and actually stand behind their work. I have 3 friends that have all had similar awful experiences with this dishonest place.
I`ve worked at dealerships and repair shops for many years and know how to treat customers, and this wasn`t it. Their additional "insurance" offered are designed to make you feel obligated to come back in so they can screw you more. Their whole system at D&L is to get your money and get you out so the next chump can get in, and if your unhappy with the work, so what your replaceable as a customer.
