Price gougers! My car broke down a half mile from my home when i was driving to the shop to have a bad part replaced. I had to leave the car there off the side of a country road overnight until a different towing company was scheduled to get to it. The next morning the police came to take my car to a lot for blocking a road for more than 24 hours (it had only been 18 and it was off the road) Dorsey`s was who they br... view moreought with them to take it away. I asked how much it would cost to tow the truck to the mechanic which was 13 miles away and he told me it would be in the neighborhood of $250 - $300. I asked how much if he could just tow it the half mile back to my house and he charged me $150!!! That`s outrageous for a quarter mile. The worst part is that the driver said he was giving me a "special discount" since it was police related bussiness. I also had to watch and wince as they essentially scraped my truck off of their flatbed like a turd off a boot. Do yourself a favor and call someone else. Save the money and the damage to your vehicle.
