DO NOT GO TO THIS REPAIR SHOP AT ANY COST. THIS IS A FRAUD REPAIR SHOP THAT WILL CHARGE YOU 2 OR 3 TIMES THE COST OF THE ACTUAL REPAIR. PLS SEE MY STORY BELOW: This is regarding the Auto repair shop, HNN Auto Repair located in Dearborn, MI. On Aug 10th at 2:30pm, I stopped at the HNN shop to diagnose and get an estimate for my vehicle, 2007 Saturn Ion front suspension problem. I was told that my front lower co... view morentrol arm bushing was worn out and I also need a new sway bar link. The owner told me that he`ll call me later to give me an estimate. In 15 minutes, I got the call that the bushing is not available and I have to replace the whole control arm assembly kit for both Left and Right sides along with the sway bar kit. The estimate for each control arm kit was $190 each and $145 for sway bar kit. On my questioning for such a high charge, he reduced the charges to $450. When I called the Autozone store within 5 miles of the shop and found they have the bushings in stock, I called HNN shop back in few minutes and to my surprise, I was told that my car is ready. This was around 3:30pm when I wanted them to stop working on my car. I went to the shop and requested the employee to reduce the charges since the control arm assembly replacement does not require $200 labor charges for 45 minutes of work.. The owner intentionally disappeared before I arrived and I was told by the employee that my car will not be released until the full amount is paid. I refused and insisted to talk to the owner. After half hour, the owner showed up and still did not agree to reduce any charges. He came up with an excuse for every lies that I caught him with like no bushing available, high labor charges for few minutes of work etc. He even stated that they don`t use any Autozone parts and the parts from Autozone are not good quality. I told him that Autozone is a national chain store with a good reputation. However I paid the shop and later I stopped at the nearby Auto repair shop Sure Stop and they gave me an estimate of $150 for changing the bushing along with sway bar link. I am requesting an inquiry into the price gouging of $430 for a repair of $150 from HNN auto repair shop. I contacted Sam on August 10, 2012, and explained that the service was unsatisfactory. Not willing to reduce any charges
