After locating a post on craig...

After locating a post on craigslist, I went up to his lot to check out the vehicle. I thoroughly inspected the vehicle and took for a test drive. I purchased the suburban as is. With the vehicles prices in the low range, you have to understand what you are getting, these are not new cars or certified pre owned, they are cheap vehicles for a low cost (obviously they aren`t going to be perfect) If you do your research... view more (carfax or vin run) it is preferable to know a little about cars to know what you are getting into. I got a great deal (and yes I am a female) i gave him 3 stars because there was problems with scheduling and he does not have anyone else working at the lot that I seen. Very satisfied with my purchase bought a vehicle 600buck under blue book value and no it has not been in a wreck. Good luck and happy hunting!

Honest Doug is only "honest" i...

Honest Doug is only "honest" if you don`t ask ANY questions. My daughter and I were shopping for cars and she made an appointment to look at a few of his cars. We had trouble finding lot and were a few minutes late. He was not there. The cars were obviously in wrecks previously. They painted over rust without priming, spray painted areas with canned spray, fixed only what they had to. When he finally showed... view more up he was obnoxiously rude. He told us he had to let people go as he was not selling any cars. He lied about body damage, lied and told us that an obviously wrecked car had not had its brand new radiator replaced. He openly told us how he sanded and spray painted a rusty roof on one car and it looked "a 100% better". When asked if one obviously wrecked car had been in an accident his reply was " I have no idea what happened with these cars before I bought them. Do you know what happened to your car before you bought it!!??!!" well, yes I do, actually. He also told my daughter on the phone to bring a man with her because he hates selling to woman as they always come back and complain. This man is a rude and obnoxious jerk who lies and sells junk. Look elsewhere. He only gets a one star because it won`t let me submit zero
