We Have Over 100,000 Parts In Our Computerized Inventory.
Do you deliver?
We have a fleet of delivery vehicles that deliver daily to business accounts within approximately a 75-mile radius of us. We do not generally deliver to private parties.
How many parts do you have?
We stock over 100,000 recycled, new, and rebuilt auto parts
How many cars and trucks do you have on site?
Not counting the stacks of crushed cars (we can`t really call them cars any more can we?) we maintain approximately 2,600 parts vehicles on site at all times.
Are all of your parts "on the shelf"?
We have over 65,000 square feet of indoor warehouse, with thousands of pre-dismantled parts on the shelf. However, we can`t have everything on the shelf. That is why we keep 30 acres of cars! Because our computer tracks every sale and every part look up we are able to pull parts that are likely to sell. However, some parts have to be left "on the vehicle". We have a special crew that pulls those parts as needed. Usually a day`s notice is all we need.
What is your return policy?
We have a 90-day "hassle free" warranty. That means that you may return any part purchased from us, for any reason, for a complete refund. Of course there are always some exceptions, but 99.9% of the time you will not see a "restocking fee" and you will never have to settle for a cheesy "in store credit." We believe in taking your money with a smile, and returning it the same way.

Most Trustworthy!
I have taken my car to Como Imports for many years. And I keep returning because they are the most trustworthy auto repair service I have experienced. On my very first visit long ago, I had a list of things to be done including getting new brake pads. No sooner had I returned to my office and I got a call from the shop saying that I didn`t need brake pads yet, but they`d replace if I wanted. How many shops would ... view moredo that?! Over the years they have taken consistently good care of my car, and I highly recommend them.

Hard to Trust
Had a warning light checked by computer here and was told that this particular warning was not a big deal and that they could `turn off` the warning light. A month later the light came back on and took it back to Como and they found the same problem come up in the system. So we said we`d like to have the problem fixed because it wasn`t worth ignoring any longer. Given that it was the same warning, wouldn`t you think ... view morethat the service check would be excluded from the total cost of the repair (something like $600)? Nope. They still charged the $90 fee. Ridiculous and frustrating.
In addition, the car started to smell like burnt plastic after the repair. It took 3 separate trips back to the shop before they could find the piece of plastic stuck in a pipe and the smell stopped.
Regardless to say I won`t be back there.

Awesome Repair Shop
I`ve been going there since 1995 and its still a great place. I`ve shopped around and gone to the dealership, but the guys at Como Imports are the best in my book.
The prices are good and the service they provide is much better. They do all of the repairs my car dealer would but for almost half the price.
I`ve had 5 different cars over the years and they`ve taken care of all the problems small or large that... view more i`ve came accross.
I would really recommend that anyone looking for a repair shop check out Como Imports, you won`t be disappointed.

Condescending mechanics and an even nastier owner
If you want to go somewhere and get bad service, please go here. I was surprised since they brag about how customer-service orientated they are and yet they are the complete opposite.
My husband and I spent a nice chunk of money to have our car fixed. When I came to pick the car up, the owner said he couldn`t hear anything even though I could. On Christmas Eve night, the car broke down. We had to spend even more ... view moremoney to get the car in working condition.
Thank you Como Imports.

Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced
This is yet antoher untrustworthy shop. The owner scammed me into paying more for my repairs than needed. The vehicle has been having a problem for over a year now. When I brought it in, I was told that the problem magically went away. In the mean time, they found more problems that I should address instead, totaling over $1500.00. I repaired the majority of the issues he mentioned, but when the work was complet... view moreed, he stated that the original problem I brought it in for, was back! He refused to look into it unless I paid him more $$ even though I had already paid for the diagnostics and about a thousand dollars of other work. When I disputed the issue, the owner became very rude and unprofessional. He even went as far to regulate how I paid for the services stating I was required to pay cash only for fear that I would cancel payment on a check/credit card. I have never been more insulted by a business owner in my life. I would never even bother writing a poor review about a business, but in this case I don`t want anyone else to get burned by this shady and vindictive owner. He is out to make money and doesn`t care how. He even said in conversation that, ""this is how he puts food on his table"". He knows he is stealing from people!

Honest, fairly-priced, good mechanics
I`ve used como for around 10 years now--they are top notch mechanics--as a shadetree mechanic myself I can tell when shops don`t have skilled techs. I`ve brought them all kinds of weird cars with weird problems over the years and they`ve always done good.
I also send my mom and wife there, and as the previous reviewer notes they are not condescending to women as so many shops are. They do a good job explaining... view more and giving customers choices.

Best place to have your car repaired
Everyone that works at Como Imports is really friendly, and extremely helpful. They respect everyone, and don`t blow off women like some shops do. They have always called before doing any repairs and took time to explain the repair in depth. They also offer prices for brand name and aftermarket supplies so you can pick what works best for you. I`ve done a lot of looking around at prices at different shops, and Como ... view moreImports is the same price or a bit lower for the services I`ve needed.
