Excellent Service
I am a former New Car Dealer. I have a very good understanding of, and appreciate Good Service, and that is what I got as a 1st time client of Lloyd?ˆ™s. I had a fuel pump go out in my Chevrolet Suburban, I was not completely sure that that was the problem as I was able to limp the vehicle into the lot over the weekend. After a call Monday morning they did a through diagnosis and determined that the fuel pump was ind... view moreeed the issue. They gave me a price, I did some checking and found it to be very fair, called them back ok?ˆ™d the repair and was given a finish time. When I arrived to pick up the truck, the final bill was a little lower. I did a little checking later and found that the way they determined that the problem was actually the electrical system in the fuel pump showed true professionalism, I was told most tech?ˆ™s would not have picked up the actual issue. I have and will recommend Lloyd?ˆ™s to my friends in the Twin Cities

Long-time customer was nearly swindled by these guys.
It`s been several years since this incident, but I think it`s worth sharing as something to consider before bringing your car to Lloyd`s or any other mechanic shop. My partner was a long-time Lloyd`s customer relying on them for everything auto related. She understood she was paying a premium for their services (they are more expensive than many other shops), but continued to bring her car there because she felt w... view moreell treated and was generally pleased with the work. During her 100K tune-up they came to her with what is the most bizarre thing I`ve ever heard from a mechanic. The check up went fine, but when she went to pick up the car she was told that she should replace all the wiring in her car. The total cost to do so would be about $1,200. She called me after she left the shop and I couldn`t believe what she told. I thought she must have misunderstood them and asked her to call the shop again to confirm what they were asking her to do. She did, and they said she should replace all the wiring on her 10 year old car as it wears out over time. I`m sure it does eventually, but come on now. After we discussed it some more, and I had her speak with one of my auto enthusiast/amateur mechanic friends she was thankfully dissuaded from doing the work. It was the last time she brought her car to Lloyd`s for any kind of work. Six years later and guess what? Still no problems with any of the electrical components.

Simply the Best!
I`ve been a Lloyd`s customer for over 2 years now. Not only do they do excellent work, it is done swiftly, honestly, and professionally. Most recently I had a flat tire (thankfully not too far away) and called Lloyd`s right away. They arranged for a tow which came in five minutes. As soon as I arrived they pulled it in the garage. Less than an hour from when I originally called the tire was patched and I was on my w... view moreay again. I know I can always rely on them for fast service and be treated with respect. You can hardly put a price on that these days! Awesome work guys!

Grand service on Grand Avenue
What a delight to find an auto repair company with friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to assure you are not unduly inconvenienced by a car that needs repair.
