Reviews:
I recently visited Specialty Auto, ran by a father and his son, to look into buying one of their advertised cars. They were very friendly and informative when I first arrived, telling me about the specific car`s history, why the price is the way it is, and the features etc. Since I had never bought a car before I asked my Dad to meet me there to help assess the value. When we were taking it for a drive he told me he ... view morethought the real value of the car was about $3,000 less than the asking price. Later when my Dad was outside and I was discussing a price with the father, and I told him what my Dad thought... that was the last word I got in the discussion. The father kept talking over me telling me my Dad didn`t know what he was talking about and how wrong we both were, and that if I wasn`t going to pay the exact asking price I should walk out the door, which is what I then did. I didn`t even get to make him an offer. They are friendly when they think you will pay them what they want; when you start a negotiation or hint at asking a lower price they have no interest and turn into a**holes.
*Also, be sure if you choose this place look closely at the car in person, the one I went to look at had dings, scratches, broken panels in the trunk, torn seats... it was rated `excellent condition` yet it needed new tires and almost every single interior surface was damaged somehow.

Vehicle sold not as advertised. Mileage was 1,500 higher than original test drive when picked up, 2nd key missing, parts in vehicle missing, All Weather tires not present (snow tires now on vehichle have to be replaced which were supposed to be all season), told inspected and serviced (it was not, oil change had to be changed immediately and oil leak present), leaking struts on both passenger and drivers side, vehicl... view moree stated no rust or dings or scratches (vehicle has all of these). Paid $3,000 for warranty and 2 weeks later dealer has not sent funds to warranty company so warranty is suspended. 2 weeks after sale dealer has not submitted title transfer paperwork to Minnesota Department of Public Safety for title transfer, he is now in violation. Beware of this dealer. His definition of "like new inside and out" is a joke. You will spend thousands of dollars as soon as you drive off the lot. He takes your money and runs.
