The proprietor of the business sold us a Jeep, of which the air-conditioning was clearly not working. Fixing it was a condition of the sale. Now, after working out a "side deal" on the deposit, not only has he had the Jeep for three days now but there is no word on the status of the repair and he is dodging repeated calls to his direct number. The Jeep he sold us also has issues with the brake booster syste... view morem as well. Before this, we had to endure a questionable repair in which they replaced a radiator fan, clearly not OEM to the Jeep and wired in such a way that although it functions for it`s purpose, there is no longer a safeguard with the dash controls for it. They still have the Jeep, have NOT performed repairs on the AC system as agreed to at the point-of-sale nor up to this point. He is dodging our calls and we have repeatedly stressed that our jobs depend on having a vehicle. He has also held the license plate and registration and has refused to repair this vehicle as agreed.His excuse was that we have not given him the money on this "side deal," while we do not have our vehicle at all in addition to the multiple problems we have had with it after signing the loan for it. Plus he expects us to "leave a check" with no assurance of a signed receipt. Every time we drive over there (which is the ONLY chance of finding him to speak to), he is not there, nor anyone to handle our account, for that matter. No settlement desired. We want our property, repairs or not. We have no desire to do business with this individual and are willing to keep reporting our complaint.
