My taxi cab was making a horrible squealing sound. I took it to a transmission mechanic who drove it around the block and claimed the planetary gears were bad and that the transmission would have to be rebuilt, $1,500.00 !!! Another cab owner suggested I take it to Mike because he is honest. Mike drove my taxi long enough to hear the noise. He said he would have to drop the transmission pan to investigate more. He... view more called me 2 days later to tell me that the transmission was fine and that the filter was somehow being sucked up into the transmission pump, impeding the flow of fluid. What one mechanic told me would cost $1,500.00 only cost me $89.00 + tax. Thank you Mike for being honest!! He has gained a loyal customer and I will never take my taxi cab to another mechanic!! You want honesty? Take your vehicle to Mikes! They also do all other auto repair.
