I`ve been having Joe at Norths...
I`ve been having Joe at Northshore Auto Repair work on my car for about 10 years and I`ve always had a great experience. While it can sometimes take a little longer than I`d like, Joe has always been honest about changes in time. He has been willing to come in early when I have to stop by before work which is great for my schedule. I just really love the family feel of the place too. I`ve met his wife and kids and it... view more`s obvious he cares about what he does. I have recommend at least three friends to Northshore Auto that have had great experiences as well.

Not the greatest experience
I took my vehicle to them upon a recommendation first thing in the morning. I didn`t hear from them till that evening. I did not receive my vehicle for 3 days, upon which I was charged 600 dollars. Upon driving it home, it was not fixed at all, and had to be taken back. I talked to another mechanic while they were looking at my car, and as they told me it could be high dollar things, I suggested what it was suggested... view more to me. ""hold on,"" they said,"" my mechanic is calling me. I`ll call you right back."" called back,"" yeah my mechanic found that it is <what I had suggested> "" They then had the audacity to charge me another 275 dollars more for a mistake they had done in the first place! when confronted, they told me that they could take it out, and I can get someone else to do the work! This is just a big rip off scam. Wish there was a mechanic that was honest and fair. This is definitely not one of them.</what>
