Reviews:
Dwayne and staff at Highland Automotive were extremely friendly, kind, informative and help. Being the obligatory non-knowledgeable female regarding all things automotive ?ˆ“ my experience was so easy ?ˆ“ great even! I would recommend HAI to all my friends.

I have two high maintenance vehicles, a Mercedes and a Land Rover. Highland has taken care of both for several years. Close attention to detail and specific estimates are provided so I can decide let?ˆ™s do that now or let?ˆ™s let that wait. I have recommended them to several friends. I first learned of them by a recommendation.

I`ve been taking my car to Highland Automotive for years and they`ve been great each time. They are always give me the best quote, fix it for what they say it will cost, and get it right the first time. They are fast too! Dwaine is honest and only truly wants to help his customers in any way. I recommend them 100%.

Beware, Very Poor Work
These guys will be nice when you give em the keys, but don`t do good work. My best friend owns a body shop a few states away, so I`m all about giving the local guys business and know how things run, but Highland Automotive really just doesn`t deliver. I live nearby and have heard several other horror stories about them from other neighbors. Both mechanical and body work issues. Dont trust them, very slippery. Their b... view moreody shop is outdated and their paint guy almost worthless. I had penny sized globs of paint left in my front bumper, body panels severely misaligned to the point I my hood scraped on my front fender panel, and when I took it back they wouldn`t correct the problem. They quoted me to fix the minor frame damage, but never even tried fixing it.....and only after I picked it up did they say anything. After trying for several weeks, a few buddies and I ended up having to adjust all the panels ourselves and took it to another shop to have the frame corrected. Highland Auto couldn`t even aim the headlight they replaced..and I ended up having to do it myself. Was very close to taking these guys to court. If you don`t care about your car whatsoever, give em a go, but otherwise forget it.
This business could improve if they cleaned up their garage, it was a dingy mess, and hired some competent techs.

In response to Dwain April 2008:
If you would have communicated what needed to be done, I would have given you the go ahead to fix whatever was needed. You chose to say nothing and see if I would notice the problems, and waste my time. I did bring my car back to you, and you schluffed me off. As you can see I paid A DIFFERENT shop to complete the job you couldn`t complete. In essence, I paid you over two grand for a novice paint job of 2 panels and a headlight.
Also, to note, I required you to use OEM parts, stated I would pay extra for them, and then find that you used aftermarket junk parts. The aftermarket headlight you replaced leaked after 1 year. Yea, I had to replace that one too. Is there anything Highland Automotive can do?
