I had my front brake pads and rotors replaced about a year ago at Car Masters. Over the past few months, I have noticed that braking isn`t smooth. It feel like braking comes in waves or pulsations. I remember them asking me (at the time they were replaced at Car Masters) whether I wanted a genuine Toyota part when replacing the rotors, and that was what they recommended. I have now learned that they put a slotted rot... view moreor on my Highlander SUV. These are normally used for high performance vehicles and certainly is not what was originally on my mom-mobile. The feeling of pulsations was occurring because my rotors are now warped. They have to be completely replaced, because a slotted rotor can`t be resurfaced. Car Masters has lost me as a customer for good. I will stick with Lowell`s from now on.

I had a very bad experience in...

I had a very bad experience in the store. I towed my car to their store on Wednesday. And on Friday, they told me they could not fix it and need to sent the engine head to the machine shop and I would get my car on next Tuesday or Wednesday. I was a little angry at that time because after two days waiting and I only got an answer that they could not fix it! But I said ok, go ahead and fix it. They sent the engine hea... view mored to the machine shop next Monday. I called them everyday and only got the answer "they are still working on it". All they could do was wait and let me wait! And when I asked on what step the machine shop was to repair my car, they knew nothing. And they refused to ask the machine shop approximately when I can get my car. That is their service attitude to customers. They didn`t pay any attention to customers and their staff were so lazy to do anything for customers. And on Wednesday (when I was supposed to get my car), I did not hear from them. I called them in a very bad mood, they finally told me that the machine shop could not fix it neither and need to call a specialist. It had already been a week. It means after a whole week, nothing changed to my car! They used two days to find out that they could not fix the car and another two days to let the machine shop to find out they could not fix the car neither. And the owner, Michelle, even hanged up my phone before I finished! This just showed me their workers are too lazy and ther service are too bad. NEVER TAKE YOUR VEICHLES TO CAR MASTERS. You could not afford the time they wasted.
