Very Friendly
After my wifes Dodge durango motor went down, Me and my wife was lookin at cars for the last 3 months. We had looked at a couple of cars on the gates nissan web site and requested more info on them within a min Scott Witt contacted me by phone and was very fiendly and polite answered all my questions about the cars invited me to come up and show me what he had on the lot. I;am in the military so it was very hard to g... view moreet freed up just gettin back from Iraq and all so me and my wife kept lookin and Scott Witt called about once a week or so checkin in and talking with me. I really liked how he didn`t pressure me he was always concerned how thing were going and wanted me to come by check him out. So when our Durango messed up again and went to a couple of dealers that wouldn`t work with us. I told my wife about him and we made the trip from London, Ky to Richmond, Ky we got there it was an hour till they closed and they stayed right there after closing to work a deal out with us like he said, they met our payment goal with friendly and professional service I will keep doin buisness there as long as it stays the same.

Great Service, Great Price
My wife and I had been hunting for a used Quest and happened across this one. Used quests with the options we were looking for are hard to come by so even though we lived 5 hours away we were very interested. We wanted to be sure that the van would be worth it if we decided to make the trip. Scott Witt was very gracious, helping us with lots of questions, additional pictures, etc. At one point he gave me his cell... view more number and I was able to text him some questions as I thought of them throughout the day. This was extremely helpful. Once we decided to go it was a bit of a bumpy trip. At one point we had to turn around for our checkbook we had left an hour behind at my mother in laws. When I told Scott about it, he had told me not to worry about it, because we could work it out. We still ended up turning around and getting it regardless, but it was nice to know that he was willing to work with us regardless. This delay got us up there several hours later than we had originally intended and had communicated with Scott. We arrived at what we thought was an hour before the dealership`s closing time. They had the van waiting on us. We couldn`t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we expected. Nick Simmons was there to great us as well. He answered several questions about the van and gave us plenty of time to test drive it and look it over. We never felt pressured. Once we decided to purchase the process was smooth and very hassle free. While checking waiting on some of the paper work, my wife happened to notice that her phone was showing an hour past what time it was. We had not realized that Richmond was an hour ahead of Tullahoma! While we thought we were arriving an hour before closing, it was in fact their closing time, and quite a bit later after the test drive and purchase details. Not once had they mentioned this, or even acted inconvenience. Truly a great experience. I would highly recommend these 2 gentlemen.

Great Customer Service
Scott Witt`s hard work to get me in the car that I wanted was excellent and he worked with such due diligence that astounded me. Scott was always friendly and prompt in replying to all my questions.
I have been to many car dealers, but Gates Nissan of Richmond and Scott Witt blew ALL of them out of the water.
I feel they have earned my business and then some!

Main phone number listed is wrong. Parts dept has no clue. Don`t waste 20 mins of your life w/ these guys to find out they can`t help you, just call someone else

Don`t know what they`re talking about
The people at Gates Nissan were very stuck up and unhelpful. The guy in the parts department had to go ""ask his manager"" for every single question that was asked of him. The people in the service dept. were stuck up and had no idea what they were talking about! Telling us a fuse was bolted in, when we had it out earlier that morning at the Advance Auto (they did not have the part and referred us to a Nissan dealer ... view morefor purchasing). My car must have GROWN a bolt huh? lol Needless to say, we will not be back to this dealership for parts, service on my Nissan, or to ever purchase a vehicle from them!

Trying to swindle me out of money.
I will not bring my car to this dealership for any maintenance again. I recently had an oil change here. Aside from the people working there making me feel extremely uncomfortable, at the end of my service I was given a list of all sorts of things that were supposedly wrong with my car. They were very negative and basically told me I needed a new car. I don`t know if they were trying to convince me to let them "... view more"repair"" it, or just trying to convince me to buy a car, but after letting someone at another garage look at my car...there was NOTHING wrong with my car. Gates Nissan you are a disappointment!
