Poor after-sales care

My dealings with Dale started out well. He was helpful, fair and honest. I bought several new and used parts from him and would have continued giving him business.
However, one part (a ring & pinion set) was not as ordered. It did not fit my car and was not from the claimed manufacturer.
After much discussion, Dale offered a refund but would not pay for shipping. I live in England and had paid $80 for this and... view more it would have cost the same to send it back (totalling more than the price of the gears) I`m out a lot of money and have a gearset I can`t use.
