I brought a car from here for my daughter. They did let me take the car to have it looked at, which is needed 300.00 work in it. They would not fix it nor go down on the price. Very bad business. I think he did it because I was a women, he thought I did not know what I was talking about, which I did. My daughter wanted it , but know she has found more thing wrong with that junk of a car. I recommend going somewhere else, unless you like being ripped off!! My girlfriend and I went to Dougs Auto Repair off of Leavenworth for her car over heating. The first time she brought it in they said there was a leak in her hose connected to the radiater. We paid $80 to get it fixed and a couple days later the car over heated again. Then they said it was her fan that needed to be fixed and charged us over $100... view more to get it fixed. Another couple weeks went bye and again it was over heating. The third time we took it in they said it needed a new water pump, that she had replaced 3 years ago. That costed over $400 to fix and the owner could not add up the correct amount owed, which then my girlfriend had to tell him the correct amount she owed him. When she got five miles away the car started smoking again!! She took the car back and they told her it was the radiator and wanted to charge her $185 for it. She said she needed to talk to her dad and the owner said he would eat the labor and just charge us $85. I had to pick her up from work and get to Doug`s before it closed. When we arrived we were both upset with the services they have been giving us and not correcting the problem in the first place charging us more and more money in the process. The guy behind the counter was super nice and crumbled up the paper that had the amount owed, handed us the keys and said you are good to go! We were very happy with his service and it could have saved us as customers until the owner came back out and asked if we had paid for the radiator. We told him the guy behind the counter said not to worry about it. The owner then said "No, I am the boss and I told you that you have to pay $85" He also threatened to call the police if we didnt pay. My girlfriend said that she didnt feel she had to pay because she was told everything was ok but, she will if she could get the old water pump to get inspected. The owner then ripped the keys out of her ignition and said she wont be able to leave the lot until she pays. We got back inside and this lady was paying for her car and asked the owner if he could look up a service he just did on her car because she could have sworn he replaced it no more than 2 years ago. One could tell he was sweating bullets after that comment. When the lady left all of us argued back and forth what we thought was right and wrong. I honestly think that if his employee let us walk away with keys in hand and told us everything was ok, then the owner needs to suck up the costs and realize that was good customer service, not going back on what was said cause we did not know what conversation he had with his employee prior and obviously was not trying to rip him off like he was with us. When all was said and done, the lady before us couldnt find the keys he said he left in her car. He couldnt find her keys either... I highly recommend going somewhere else unless you do not mind paying a ton of money in such a short time. When you ask for a service you expect it to be done right, not by the fifth try.

My family has been going to Do...
My family has been going to Dougs Auto Repair for years! I`ve been going to them for over 3 years myself with my Jeep Patriot! They have always been kind and helpful in every way they possibly can! It`s hard to find good and honest customer service (especially in the motor vehicle world) and Dougs is top notch! I would tell anyone that needs someone that knows cars, is kind, honest and reasonably priced to take thei... view morer vehicle to Dougs!

Best service in town...
As a women knowing nothing about cars, I have been taking advantage of plenty of times. I was shopping around at a few local car shops to have my intake gasket replaced on my 2002 Impala. I was quoted any where from $800 to $950 from numerous different shops. Doug`s auto quoted me $550.00. Due to the hugh price difference I was hesitate to take it there, but I didn`t have a choice. I am so glad that I did. They... view more are extremely honest, friendly, and caring. It was nice not getting riped off for a change. The work they did was professional. I recommend them to any friends/family that need work done to their cars.

Scams Customers
Dougs auto repair pulled a scam on me when they said they could repair a coolant leak in my car. I took my car to them, advised my "low coolant" light kept coming on, and that it appears the coolant was leaking. They quoated me the cost to FIX THE LEAK and charged me over $400 to put in a new fuel filter. Two days later the low-coolant light reappeard. When I contacted Doug`s and told them about this an... view mored that I would expect their Service Guarantee to cover the SAME PROBLEM THEY SAID THEY JUST FIXED he said it didtn apply and the cost to repair the leak would be another $450! WHAT A SCAM! I DO NOT TRUST THEM AND WILL NEVER TAKE MY AUTO BACK TO THEM. NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!11
