Read this before you go there... its a horrible place!
I took my car in for an estimate on the transmission. They had it for a couple days... I called back and they estimated $2580 to fix my `98 Honda Accord and wanted $350 to get it out of the shop all torn apart for "labor." About a week later we decided to go ahead and have it fixed at a set price of $1800. They had my car for 6 weeks. I called on it once or twice a week. One time when I called Eddie gets on... view more the phone and tells me if I don`t quit calling they are not going to be able to fix my car because it is distracting him when I call. WHAT!!!! He had my car practically all summer and got mad when I called about it. He also tried to argue with me about how long he had the car. So after all of this I go drive my car and it sounds HORRIBLE. They also "fixed" a CV joint. The first turn I made that thing was popping like crazy. Worse than when I took it in there. The transmission was shifting horrendously. I didn`t care though. After not having a car for that long you just want your car back. It?ˆ™s been a couple months since it was worked on... now my oil leaks, my drive train is messed up and the trany still doesn`t run right. I seriously thought about turning these people into the better business bureau and I would have if I had time.

All around a bad place!
I took my car in for an estimate. Without my consent they started working on it! After he had my transmission completely apart he told me how much it would cost to have it fixed. I couldn`t afford it right then and said it would be a couple weeks before I could come up with some money. He demanded that I pay for the "work" that he already had done. I told him I didn`t have the money and I didn`t authorise the work he... view more had done. Well after arguing with the guy for an hour or two, he placed all the parts to my transmission in a box put it in the back seat and pushed it out front and told me to get my car off of his property after calling me a dumb a** several times.

eddie would screw his own mother
Eddie is a horrible person!!! Him and his workers are all thieves! He traps you into having to pay him money or you don`t get your car back! He does work that you dont know anything about and charges outragously! Not only that I had to take vehicle back 3 times before it ran half way decent! After i got my car back I took it somewhere else and half the stuff he charged me for had never been touched!!! I took my car s... view moreouth to andys auto repair and he showed me what eddie had done! he sold me used parts, but charged me for new ones.

Highly NOT recommended
I brought my vehicle into Eddie`s Transmissions because the vehicle had a leaking coolant hose. The hose was situated in an in-accesible place underneath the engine block. Simply put, I did not personally have the proper tooling to fix the problem myself. I brought my vehicle in by appointment for a free estimate on how much it would cost for the hose to be replaced. I had meantioned to a mechanic in the shop tha... view moret my finances were limited because I was currently un-employed; fact in hand, I only had $200 in my possesion. A verbal agreement was made that this was only an estimate and that no work would have been done on the car without consent. I called Eddie`s Transmissions to check on the vehicle in which they replied, ""the coolant hose has already been replaced, and we are running a few more tests on the vehicle in order to check the engine."" - THIS WAS ALL DONE WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!! I arrived to the shop as quickly as possible to retrieve my vehicle before they tried to ""fix"" anything else without my consent. The cost of the work done on the vehicle was, you guessed it, EXACTLY $200, the very amount of money that I had mentioned that was all I had! I had previous estimates from various other shops that cost HALF that amount of money!!! The mechanic lied to his supervisor about recieving my consent. They charged me $30 for coolant and $112 of labor!, plus another $30 for the hose!!! I have never seen a mechanic charge more than $60 an hour for working on a vehicle! They`re saying that it took about 2 hours to replace a rubber hose!!!! Need I not meantion that all my personal belongings in the vehicle had been manhandled with greasy fingerprints on my christmas gifts in the back, my radio face-plate that was in a case located inside my glove box, cd`s, and other personal belongings in my car!
