I must first say that the offi...
I must first say that the office managers kindness and knowledge is what influenced my choice in going to calvert`s and because of their bright red ads that are out constantly i was kind of glad they were now in wyco. After the office manager my experience things went down from there. The story is simple which is why i do not plan on going back and have already shared my experience with acquaintances. My car was pull... view moreing to the right and i believed i needed a alignment. The service manager informed me that they could do the alignment. I was told that my back passenger tire was not great. I agreed and informed them that the tire did need replacing and was chopped due to a bad strut which had since been replaced but not the tire. After the alignment was done i was told by the service manager..(who btw talked to me about tires and maintanance as if i was 18 and in my 1st car and i`m not. i`m 50 ! He talked way overboard on attempting to prove how knowledgeable he was)...that my car drifted slightly now, but would do better with a new tire. The next day i informed calverts that the car still pulled like it did before the alleged alignment. My bad i left my car there and left for them to work on.. something i never ever hardly do but i had no choice. The service manager informed me to bring the car back in which i did on the following wknd. In between that time my mechanic looked at my car in the air and showed me where two of my tires were decent but all needed to really be replaced and he showed me the obvious swelling in my driver side front tire which had a broken belt and explains why the car pulled. I replaced all four tires and car ran beautifully again but the tire place did a free alignment and showed me the spec #`s where the driver side arms still need a minimum adjusting. When i took the car back into calverts i asked the manager why would you do a alignment on a car that had obviously such bad tires and one obviously with a broken belt. He stated to me that, didn`t we discuss the tires and i just do what the customer says to do. I found that appalling and a lie from someone who just spent plenty of time going on and on about how knowledgeable he is. I informed him no you only pointed out the bad back tire which i stated i knew about that tire. No reputable company would have even done the alignment on the car even if a customer insisted. Not only that his attitude had become less than desirable. On top of that when i brought my car back into calverts at 8am i was told that the alignment guy was gonna be late. 3 hrs later the manager and co worker did the alignment because the so called alignment guy never showed up for work and there in may lie the initial problem. After explaining the bad belt that was on the car to one of the workers there. He immediately said a alignment should have never been done. EXACTLY. The mgr showed me he was looking for quantity not quality. Please beware of the Know it all Mgr. I give a two rating only because of the office mgr.
