I am currently looking for a new vehicle, but I can`t afford a very expensive car. I went there to see what they had. Told them what I was looking for and how much. The Salesmen went out to see what he had, and came back with an option of a car over my budget. Said I would love it, and I did, but I knew I couldn`t afford it. Kept telling him, and I believe he tried to make it work, but in the end it didn`t. Onc... view moree I found out how much the insurance and the car payment would be, I told him again, I just couldn`t afford it. He seemed a little upset, who knows maybe upset I wasn`t jumping on that really reliable vehicle. Kinda rude in my opinion.

I had a very similar experience to the first user... Their Service and Body department standards are very low. I wouldn`t recommend using them at any cost. I brought my concerns to the attention of their Service Department and I also filled out a survey. The Service department ignored any of my concerns and denied any wrong doing. I did receive a call from BMW America which told me they would send notice to the ... view moredealership however their hands were tied as they are an independently owned dealership. Although notifying them of the concerns will usually motivate the dealership to address the issue. Apparently Joe Self ignored BMW America`s notice as I never have received a call to discuss my concerns although requested one several times. Their arrogance in how they handle any of their customers concerns will be their demise.

Poorest Service of Any Dealer ...
Poorest Service of Any Dealer Nationwide. Gave the dealer an "unsatisfactory rating" on their internet survey. Following that, I was called into the service manager`s office and scolded and informed that they could not meet my service expectations for Cadillac and that their dealer would no longer honor my General Motors warranty. I was sent away, a complaint was filled with General Motors corporate... view more office, and informed that neither my personal vehicles or the government vehicles I am responsible for are welcome for any service or warranty work at Joe Self. Joe Self Chevrolet, Cadillac, BMW has provided nothing short of a lack-luster ownership experience.

Great Service, Great People, Great Price
I am fairly new to owning a BMW. Its been about 2 years and i have been enjoying most everything about the car. The one major downturn that i have found is that when i bought the car used i was told that Jackie Cooper BMW in OKC was the place to go for maintenance because i am from Oklahoma. I did and noticed that things were ok but no personable at all. Then one day I was driving my car and i stopped at a stop sign ... view moreand it just wouldn`t go anywhere. After calling Jackie Cooper they said that it had to be my transmission which was $6000 and that it could only be from me not bringing it in for maintenance or from my mistreating the vehicle. I will not go out and say i am the best driver or even the most cautious but i am often told that i drive incredibly slow for a 24 year man who owns a BMW. Their service had failed to see that the CV shaft was going bad on my left side when the fixed the right side not long before that. Aside from that their service people were rude and obnoxious. They made a bold statement saying that it was my transmission before ever seeing the vehicle.
I instead made a phone call to Joe Self BMW in Wichita, KS which is about the same distance from my house as Jackie Cooper BMW in OKC. They weren`t willing to make any assessments over the phone without seeing the car. They also helped me get the car to them at an incredibly reasonable price and were willing to work with me on the pricing and the timing of getting the car fixing. The were able to help me get my car fixed for less than half of what i got it fixed for in OKC for the same problem. They also fixed a short in my tail light that the OKC dealer said they fixed when they in fact didn`t. The woman that we spoke with in the service department was incredibly kind and willing to work with us to get the problem solved. Overall, i would say that the only reason that i might buy a BMW again would be due to the service i got at Joe Self BMW. And if i do in fact buy one, it will be from Joe Self BMW.
Wichita really is worth the drive if you are in within that area. Its a great city that is not much different from OKC but in this case the service was.

GREAT SERVICE
I just had my Silverado in for service and a minor warranty issue. The service department did a great job from the time I arrived to when I was given the keys after the repairs were completed. Top notch service.
