Excuse me, but the two 5 star reviews below don`t pass the smell test. Notice that they were both written on the same day, and neither reviewer has any history of reviewing anything else. It`s probable that both of these gushing reviews were planted by someone with a vested interest in not looking like the one star business that they really are.

If you do business with Mr. Willey, you better hope you have no disagreement. I objected to a repair bill that was different that what was agreed upon. Rather than negotiating, or compromising, or explaning why, Mr Willey instructed his shop forman to impound my car, and not accept my credit card or check. I would have to pay cash to get my car back, and pay the amount that was on the bill. He jumped from A to Z, wit... view moreh nothing inbetween. I got frustrated, and he escalated the situation more by threatening to call the police. Dumbfounded, I walked slowly down the isle, and he leaned out his office and chided me to walk faster, and "get the hell out"! I went across the street to an ATM, and returned to pay the bill to get my car back. I never have been so humiliated in my life. If you are ever at Willey`s, ask why George White has 4 times as many salespeople and vehicles. Mr. Willey has literally driven much of his business away. Willey`s F rating at Better Business Bureau is well deserved.

I have purchased several vehicles from Willey Inc. Everyone is so kind and willing to help. Bill is one of the best sales people I have ever had a chance to work with. Very low pressure and willing to let you have a chance to collect your thoughts during your important decision making process. Very, very rude service depart...
There is a reason the Better Business Bureau gives this place an `F` rating! Very, very rude service department employees. And there is no point in going to the supervisor, he`s the worst! They went over the amount I authorized when I dropped my car off for service. They then told us to "never come back" after we demanded they stick to the authorized amount. The service guy practically threw a ta... view morentrum when he had to redo the paperwork for the CORRECT amount, meanwhile the supervisor was sitting at his desk making snarky comments under his breath. After we paid, my husband asked for my keys and the supervisor began to question whether our credit card was declined, it wasn`t of course. He apparently just felt the need to demean and belittle his customers before granting us the privilege of posession of our own vehicle. I have never experienced such rude behaviour at any business, ever. I highly recommend avoiding this place at ALL costs. They will overcharge you and act like YOU should be thanking THEM

worst car dealership in Iowa
Never do business with this company. This is the most unprofessional company in all of Iowa. From the receptioinist to the owner of the shop, the only people I would trust are the mechanics doing the work. The rest of the employees are all crooks that lie, and misslead you. There is no such thing as customer service when dealing with this company. If you are planning on living in Ames, buy a vehicle from somewhere... view more else or just simply don`t buy a Ford. Go down the street or directly accross, and do business with professionals. This way you can avoid all the frustration I dealt with over the entire month it took me to get my car fixed. Even after they replaced the engine (yes the entire engine had to be replaced) three days later my service emissions light came on.
